I were there nextdoor, yesterday and saw the test-rides - wow ! ! !

Now it´s about 2 ½ hour left until they open the park for this season.

Who will be the first to post a glimt of a view from above ? ?

Hi guys,

Here's a question for you:

I have an option to visit one of these parks at the end of June for 1 day (hopefully 2)

As i have 2 free days in london:

Thorpe park in England

Liseberg or Gruna Lund in sweden (i can't believe i can squeeze these 2 in 2 days unfortunatly).

My heart goes for the sweden parks.

I read all those great reviews about both parks,Especially balder.

But i think that now that Gruna Lund has it's own good wooden coaster - It might just be a bit more attractive as a park?

What do you think?

Thanks!

Gil

Swe-den! Swe-den! Swe-den!

Note that Liseberg gives you more space and walking room,

whereas Grona Lund is (IMhO) the "Blackpool" of Sweden!

With so much great stuff packed into every inch of the park. And its

beside the water too! (Liseberg is beside a freeway, but that's ok.)

Hi All,

As i mentioned in an earlier post , I'm going to visit both Grona Lund and Liseberg in a few days.

Beside the bigger rides -All the roller coasters, the drop tower at liesberg and eclipse at Grona lund,

what do you think are the must-do-hidden-gems in these two parks?

And, what is the "not to be missed" food while you are in Liesberg\Grona lund? (read somewhere on some great deserts i think )

Thanks!

Gröna Lund has the best (and the original) fun house in the world, it is a must do!

Liseberg has Spökhotel Gasten (scary house) for an up charge, but it is worth it.

Pretty much all the other rides worth doing are very visible, just walk around the parks and you should spot what you are interested in.

Any way a non Sweden can buy tickets for Grona Lund on line?

It looks like you can only buy them up front if you are local.

Strange, as Liesberg sell tickets to everyone on their online store...

It seems like they only takes creditcards from "Scandi-lands".

Do you want em for quicker line or?

Actually wanted to skip the line at the entrance. Do they

Offer fast passes at all ? Cant recall seing these online or

Mentioned anywhere...

You can buy online with "Nordic credit cards". Entrance and ride-tickets.

Then you can collect tickets outside and inside the park at ticket-boots.

They dont have "fast-lines" on the rides.

If you are member of TPR, this is what it says:

" Gröna Lund (Stockholm, Sweden) - Show your Club TPR membership card at the ticket booths and get FREE park admission and a 10% discount on all ride wristbands. "

I have´nt been there yet this year, so I have no experience of the work.

That's amazing, exhilarating and terrifying photos, up there.

And that view!

^ Dang, guess i'll have to sign up for that trip just for this opportunity

Knowing that you'll be there to take some incredible photos takes the sting out of not being able to go myself.
