I305forever
^ Why do they show just the animation and not the real ride?
Koasterking48
Thunderbird commercial here...... That last line seems to hit everyone who always asked for a steel coaster, which I love! Â Also on Twitter, a picture of the local news interviewing HW had a new restaurant in the background. Can't wait to try it!
Raven Maven
^ We're waiting for the trees to leaf-out and other springtime beautification to take place. No worries, there'll be another spot in a month or so.
Nrthwnd
^ What is the HW rep holding in his hand? Looks like ice cream, but I could be mistaken.

Nrthwnd
^ Seriously? Thunderbird Ice Cream??? Â I want it. Â I know I have seen this done with food like potato chips and cereal, but that's generally advertising for the park itself, and not a specific ride or coaster. Never seen ice cream done this way, before. Â Cool! Edited April 15, 2015 by Nrthwnd
Woodie Warrior
Even though I'm not a huge fan of pecans, I'll probably try "Thunderbird" out when I'm at the park. Â This reminds me of the Outlaw Run ice cream flavor that has caramel and chocolate chunks. It's a cool marketing move for both the parks and the ice cream brands. Raven Maven
^ It started rolling out the past week or so. Schnucks will carry it locally, as well at Holiday Foods and IGA. Walmarts, too. Â Oh, and my house.

cfc
I'd definitely try this ice cream. The "spicy pecans" should be a nice contrast with the vanilla ice cream and caramel.

prozach626
I'm definitely in to try a couple scoops of Thunderbird Ice Cream this summer. It's going to hurt since I eat mostly paleo, but the spicy pecans have my mouth watering. Â So... when can we expect Thunderbird Ale? ...

mikejenkins1
So the power generating trailers are now down in the amphitheater area. Are they still running lines from them up the hill (see blue tarps or such)? Also did we ever hear an official answer for their appearance and usage? Will they be there all season or until 'something' is fixed/ready?

Will they be there all season or until 'something' is fixed/ready? On their Twitter I think last week or so someone asked and they responded that it was a just in case back up measure while testing. Nothing was wrong and everything was working as intended.
mikejenkins1
I was just wondering if there was some repair/upgrade work being done at the local power station so they needed the backup. Good to hear all is well (and expected).
