Diamondbacker27 Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 i find the lack of Aquatrax in the ride speculation so far highly disappointing. Because everyone knows that is far fetched. A water ride from Intamin gets torn down because it had trouble running properly. Then it will be replaced with a similar ride also made by Intamin!!'
Kyle Coleman Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 Dippin dots guy said totally going to be an aquatrax(someone had to say it).
Ape Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 I believe we will be making our first trip to Holiday World this Sunday. I'm looking forward to it.
LogBur Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 To me, the Voyage alone makes Holiday World worth the trek (which is 6 hrs from home). You should really consider Holiwood Nights, I think it is the best way to experience Holiday World /and/ Splahsin' Safari. Â Ditto, and it's 6 hours for me too. Â I crave the late night rides on Voyage that are just 2 1/2 weeks away. Those moonlit trips into the woods at Holiwood Nights are my favorite coaster experiences yet encountered.

Are there any other events on this planet that offer this kind of ERT?
Kyle Coleman Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 I have to come from las vegas for holliwood nights and the awesome pitch black voyage rides make the whole trip well worth it. If you have never experienced it, I would highly recommend coming down for it asap.
Raven Maven Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 ^ For more information about HoliWood Nights (and to register), please visit: http://www.HolidayWorld.com/Clubs
Ape Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I am making my first trip to the park this weekend. The temps are supposed to be in the mid sixties. Anyone here brave the cold water for those slides? I don't think ill make it back this year so if I can I'm going tl deal with the cool water.
GayCoasterGuy Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I'm not making it to HWN this year, but heading down tomorrow for the "don't wanna miss" day on Thursday
Midgetman82 Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 ^As will I, though the waterpark isn't scheduled to be open on that day. ^^I've done the park's water coasters in those temps during a HWN morning ERT. If you're really desperate, they're both worth at least one run each. Some people have done both multiple times, but I guess they can stand the cold better than me. I think the water warms up later in the day.
PKI Jizzman Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Can't wait to ride the Voyage for the first time in years tomorrow! Weather looks PERFECT, 65*! Will be great to take lots of photos and ride some amazing wooden coasters. I'll be there all day tomorrow!
ZeroGravity55 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Â Found this on the Holiblog (with some help from screamscape). Look at the picture of the wooden block things in the photo. They all say 5.19.14. Could this be the day something is announced? Â Here's the link- http://www.holidayworld.com/holiblog/2014/05/13/doubt-look/

Could this be the day something is announced? Â Here's the link- http://www.holidayworld.com/holiblog/2014/05/13/doubt-look/ Â Â Definitely relevant. A few thoughts. First, if this is the announcement for a new attraction, expect it to be big. So big that it'll be too big to hide this summer. Also, it must be big if they are announcing in May. The Voyage wasn't announced until July. However on the flip side, I would have expected more teasing from HW leading upto this point if they intend to announce something major in less than a week... Â Edit: after looking at that screenshot again, those are blocks of wood I believe. Could we be seeing yet a fourth wooden coaster at Holiday World? That would be unexpected. Maybe I'm reading too much into it. After reading the price tag for a Chance Hyperlite, I thought briefly that it was a possibility. Of course, I quickly remembered proximity of the parks and I firmly believe, if it's steel, it's looping. If you want hills, turns, etc. there's wood for that. RMC hybrid anyone?
Diamondbacker27 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 WhileI can not see the photo, it sure does build hype.
GrapesLie Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 ^ I'm getting excited now! What a great year to go to Holiwood NIghts!
Diamondbacker27 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 ^ I'm getting excited now! What a great year to go to Holiwood NIghts! Yes, it's this Monday!! Only a couple days away Hopefully, it will be an announcement for a new coaster, hopefully an RMC Hybrid
Raven Maven Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Um ... May 19 is my birthday. Sweet party favors, huh? Â Meanwhile, if you've ever considered subscribing to the HoliBlog (via email or RSS), today would be a really good day to do that.

Here's the link- http://www.holidayworld.com/holiblog/2014/05/13/doubt-look/  Could those be token blocks given out to those there on the 19th for the big announcement? They could have some sort of logo on the opposite side(s). It looks to me like that they were made at (casper's?) wood shop next to the Legend. Not that that has any significance but it does stir the curiosity nonetheless
GrapesLie Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 All I know is I'm really hoping for a RMC! I'm sure I'll be happy either way though! Just pray they don't put in a Vekoma Boomerang!
WildStangAlex Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Already in progress. They went back by Voyage and someone found a box with papers that say "66daysatsea.com" and now they're headed to Giraffica's station.
