Genx24
I mean, I think it's pretty apparent GAdv is indeed getting the S&S Free Spin for 2016, but nothing is "confirmed" by any stretch. It seems like this year people can't just speculate. Instead, they'd rather make fake press releases and say they spoke to park management to claim that they know with 100% certainty what the new addition is. It's getting pretty ridiculous. boldikus
^ Yeah maybe its just me but I really don't understand why "enthusiasts" clamor over one another to be the first person to break the unconfirmed, completely speculated "news" about a new attraction. Its fun to try to figure it out based on clues but nothing is official until the park announces it. I thought it was bad last year but its completely absurd this year. Maybe its just a consequence of social media? Page hits/Followers?
coasterfreak101
#S&SFreeSpinConfirmed Now this is just silly... a) You can't use punctuation in a hashtag. b) Who in the world is ever going to use this?! I thought it was bad last year but its completely absurd this year. Maybe its just a consequence of social media? Page hits/Followers? I mean, it's been a while since the park built a new coaster. Like, a month and a half. Old news.
larrygator
Also, #S&SFreeSpinConfirmed This is speculation or rumor. Confirmation would involve reputable sources being named, who in the media did John Fitzgerald speak to as why didn't that media source announce the news? Maybe John will reveal some hints to the media next Tuesday at NAMTAB media day.

DoinItForTheFame
Great Adventure Online posted some pictures of Namtab testing today. Still makes me sad that I missed the chance to ride Namtab when it was at SFOT! Hopefully people will enjoy Namtab while it's at the park!
neil009
You know, sometimes when I'm thinking about Batman backwards I'm like "I really want to try that!". Then other times I'm like, "Gee, that sounds fun, but I think I'd rather stick my hand in this food processor". I'm really not sure.
boldikus
^ LMAO. It definitely looks intense. I like Batman and I am stoked to try it at least once, hopefully more if its not too much.
Genx24
Yea, count me amongst those who can't wait to ride this. And, I just noticed in the weekly e-mail the park sends out that there will be passholder ERT for Namtab on July 7 from 2-close.
njcoasterguy34
I'm one of those who's of two minds about Namtab. If it's anything like the backwards part of Vekoma shuttles, then I'm not really sure I want to ride it.
boldikus
Just talked to my buddy and looks like I'll be up there Friday afternoon/night after a half day @ work. Hope its not too crowded. Also hoping that since Namtab "opens" on Saturday they may have some sort of soft opening Friday night, we'll see.

Swede
Just got back from the park. Namtab was testing with riders. Also the things some has said about the A train on Nitro this year is confirmed. Had a horrible rattle. C was fine though. All rides had stacking of trains and Ka had an afternoon breakdown. Still I had a good day with plenty of rides without a flash pass. NickLikesCoasters
Will be heading to the park Sunday. They'll be having the Namtab Coke ERT then, so definitely looking forward to checking it out. Also, I'm finally going to try El Diablo I've just never felt like riding it when I walk towards El Toro, but I'm gonna force myself this time around. Chris27
Cant wait to ride Batman backwards, if its a hit the park should just leave it for the rest of the year. I mean Batman is still a pretty decent ride after all these years but making it backwards makes it a whole new ride. Why not leave it like that? What I dont like is alot of times at the park Batman has a line so now backwards Batman will probably always have a big line.
coasterbill
Why not leave it like that? That would be a terrible idea as many people hate Batman backwards and love Batman forwards, what might be cool is if they turned the back half of the train around and gave people a choice. Personally I don't understand why they'd screw with the second best coaster in the park anyway, but it Six Flags and they love a good gimmick I guess. It might be fun to try once, but I'm counting the days until it's running forwards again.
Genx24
Keeping it backwards would be a terrible idea. Although I'm excited to try Namtab, I feel I might only ride it a couple of times just to say I did. I have to agree with Bill, normal B:TR certainly isn't broke; they don't need to tinker with it beyond the couple of months they currently are. neil009
Is there only one backwards Batman train? I was kind of hoping they'd run one forwards and one backwards, but I guess people would clog up the line waiting for the backwards one.
Genx24
There are two, the other is still in Georgia. And I remember someone mentioning back when Namtab was first announced that they can't run one forward and one backwards, but I don't recall the specific reason as to why. boldikus
^ Because the loading and station in general would be a complete clusterfu*k with people trying to figure out which train they want to be on. Can you imagine how insane that would be? They'd have to have two different loading areas which obviously isnt possible. Also I didn't realize we only had one train, that's lame. Capacity is going to be a nightmare on July 4th.
Genx24
There's only one train for now. Like I stated, the other one is still in Georgia. I'm sure it will be on its way soon, if it isn't already in transit.
Vtafro
Was at the park yesterday, since i took off work for my birthday. Rode all the B&Ms, El toro a couple of times and the Ring of Fire. Riding batman backwards was interesting, but still seems gimmicky to me.(also had the longest line we waited in) They were only running one train, however the transfer track looked like it had a second backwards train. So perhaps they will fix that for this weekend.
larrygator
Keeping it backwards would be a terrible idea. Although I'm excited to try Namtab, I feel I might only ride it a couple of times just to say I did. To me this is the reason there are doing it. I think a lot of B:TR fans feel this way.
