sthomas.maroons Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Just found another photo on PB of the exit ramp. Im going to be very interested to see this station.
KingRCT3 Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 I can imagine less people riding on the skyride, and I honestly wouldn't either! American ropeways are already scary on their own anyways. When you're accustomed to the european look of the towers supporting the cable, with their tons of safety and maintenance devices, and when you compare it to those rickety toothpicks, you shudders already. Basically what you guys feel about knock-of coasters, I also feel it about (most of) the american chairlifts. As for Monster, the first "inversion" is so weird but I think it's going to be awesome!
AdventureJack Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I actually think the ridership of the sky ride will go up! I agree! From the FB page. Just finished topping of the last loop. And look, the lift hill track went up really fast!
sthomas.maroons Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Does anybody know why the bottom lift section is red and orange and the top two thirds is white? The coaster is looking absolutely great though! I think testing should begin in the next couple weeks with the trains almost to Iowa!!!
RyanTPM Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 ^Looking forward to seeing it test in the next few weeks as you said, definitely my favorite infinity coaster now!
gerstlaueringvar Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 With the magnetic anti-rollback, I wonder if they will turn up the lift speed to let it fly?
sthomas.maroons Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Photos were just taken today. Absolutely love the look of this thing. Track work should be 100% complete in the next few days!!!
Arn'O Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 I love that colour scheme more than anything! It looks even better than Junker...
Henry M Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 I love the look of that drop, it is so big! It will feel amazing with the lap bars and all together it looks like a really nice coaster.
Vonni Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Looks great! Hopefully we will see more of these pop up at the smaller parks in the U.S.
AdventureJack Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 (edited) Another update from Facebook. It's so cool to finally start seeing how it will look in its environment among other rides in the park. Edited April 20, 2016 by AdventureJack
sthomas.maroons Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 ^^^ That's look absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to ride this thing in June!!!
Nrthwnd Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 And I can barely make out the sky ride traveling through it.... awesome!
RyanTPM Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 The interaction with the ride is going to be great from the sky ride, seriously, if possible i can't wait to see pictures taken from it!
Geauga Dog Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 I've never really been a fan of the lime green color for a coaster but on Monster it really "pops" in its surroundings. The ride looks fantastic.
sthomas.maroons Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Found these photos on FB. The coaster looks like it is getting its final touch before Adventureland opens up next week.
sthomas.maroons Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Found this photo on Twitter of the gigantic lift hill! I can't wait to get some awesome pictures when I go Sunday during opening weekend!!!
RyanTPM Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 ^Thanks for posting, shame it won't open with the park but looking forward to seeing some testing soon!
sthomas.maroons Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Photo taken today. This thing looks ridiculous!!!
sthomas.maroons Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Picture taken yesterday from FB. This thing is looking absolutely Perfect and I can't wait to see it with its lighting at night!!!
sthomas.maroons Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Found these photos from the local news station! I cannot wait to see the awesome photos taken tomorrow on opening day! I also got a sneak peak at the new station for the coaster
RyanTPM Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Thanks for posting those photos, love that picture you showed on Wednesday!
Superbatboy Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 This looks great, still in love with the color
VF15 Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Looks like Adventureland didn't open today due to rain and temperatures in the 40s. That stinks when you have to cancel Opening Day. Adventureland Park will NOT be opening today unfortunately - 40's and raining (and continued rain called for all day) is making us call a Mother nature do-over.The Band Festival held in our Palace Theater will go on as planned. All Band Festival, Substance Free and DARE tickets (the tickets originally valid only 4/30, 5/1, 5/7 and 5/8) will be extended and have a new expiration date of June 30, 2016. The Season Pass office by the front gate will be open today until 3pm to take photos and make season pass cards if you would like to get your 2016 season pass made today. Let's try again tomorrow!
