805Andrew Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 ^ Is that a Christmas tree in the background?
Meteornotes Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 A Black & Blue (Sam Adam's Creme Stout and Blue Moon) at the MD Ren Faire on Saturday. dt
805Andrew Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Rogue Farms Pumpkin Patch Ale from Newport, OR The best pumpkin beer I've had so far this season (and the most expensive).
TPDave Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 In France, Kronenbourg is this and 1664 is what you actually wanted. Don't make the same mistake as me...
cfc Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 ^ Is that a Christmas tree in the background? I guess. I just got the photo via Google.
805Andrew Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 ^ Is that a Christmas tree in the background? I guess. I just got the photo via Google. Ah. I was thinking no way anyone would have a Christmas tree up in their home in October. Retail stores are another story.
TPDave Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 ^ Ive never tried a pumpkin beer, Ill have to keep an eye out and try one before the season ends!

bbomser Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 ^ Ive never tried a pumpkin beer, Ill have to keep an eye out and try one before the season ends! Us Americans seem to find new things to add pumpkin and pumpkin spice to. I was at a beer class at my local Total Wine a couple weeks ago, and the guy mentioned that about 5 years ago, there were maybe 10-15 pumpkin beers, now there are maybe 10-15 brewers who don't have a pumpkin beer! That being said, I've tried the Jack-O Traveler, and it is now my favorite pumpkin beer. Shipyard Pumpkinhead is a close second, followed by Brooklyn Post Road Pumpkin. What's everyone else's favorite Pumpkin beers?
cfc Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 ^Williamsburg Ale Werks makes a pretty good pumpkin brew, as well--but Shipyard's is probably the best.
TPDave Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 ^^ Ha! Yeah the whole pumpkin spice thing has taken off recently. A friend of mine just imported some pumpkin spice Oreos! I had a bourbon flavoured beer recently. Maybe a little "fake" tasting but interesting nonetheless!
bbomser Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Bourbon flavored beer is weird. Though I've had beer that's been aged in bourbon barrels (Might be what you're talking about, not sure). That's delicious. You can usually taste the smokey notes from the bourbon and then the bite at the finish. If done right, a true barrel-aged beer is delicious!
TPDave Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 ^Nah, this was like regular beer that someone had probably injected some stuff into, not great!
Moose Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 I didn't get a picture of it but I had a good pint of Southern Tier Pumking last night. It was pretty good, but the pizza and wings I had with it were outstanding.
screaminkid2005 Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Bud Light last night at a halloween party!
