dammie16@vt.edu
For all the Gleeks on TPR, Me and my GF are both really big into this show and we stumbled across "This Ain't Glee" which is a Porn parody. If you enjoy the show it is worth it for a good laugh  Anyway, I am stoked about Carol Burnett, hope it happens!
Foxy Roxy
If I may, offer an opinion about "Glee". I don't like "Glee". Â It's not as much a problem with the music but more a problem with the fans that I have to deal with, the commercialism, and stereotypes. For some reason, thanks to Glee, it's a lot harder to come out to people.
dammie16@vt.edu
^To each his own, but the show is all about being who you want to be and not worrying about what that makes other people think. Taking part in something you're passionate about regardless of social status and so on. Â I guess I don't really understand what kind of fans you have been dealing with? Â The stereotypes I understand but the show has all extremes of those, Jock/Flamboyant/Dumb Blond Cheerleader/Emo Asian/etc.

Taking part in something you're passionate about regardless of social status and so on. Â No offense, it's a good ideal, but I don't think it's necessarily a valid point. I feel as though a lot of the people who watch Glee and see that message think "Oh ok well I'll be what I want" and then they start conforming and still have it in their mind that "Oh I'm being who I want to be I don't care what other people think" but it's just a cycle of flawed logic. However, that is in my own life and may be user specific. Â I guess I don't really understand what kind of fans you have been dealing with? Â Similar too, if not worse, than . Â The stereotypes I understand but the show has all extremes of those, Jock/Flamboyant/Dumb Blond Cheerleader/Emo Asian/etc. Â It's not like every stereotype doesn't already describe people who actually exist. Â I'm not saying the show has no merits but I feel there's a bit of backstage motives.

MG
Fantastic show. The way it splits my school is truly hilarious. I went to an all boys school and nearly everyone claimed that they didn't watch it. However for some weird reason everyone knew the characters, knew the storylines and upon investigating their gadgets, would contain the episodes and music. It was truly hilarious the denial that went on.
jynx242
So - anyone having friends over for tonight's episode? Throwing a little dinner party at our house, then watching the premier. Â David

Sir Clinksalot
The show itself was ok, the songs were kind of meh IMO. You can't have the big epic showstopping "Don't Stop Believin'" for last years premiere and end the 2nd season premiere with "What I Did for Love". Â I thought Coach Biest was awesome though. Yamez
"New York" was really well done though. You can't have a show stopper in every show. Also, balls in mouth.
Sir Clinksalot
Did anybody catch the new show that came on after Glee, Raising Hope? I thought it was effin' hilarious. Wasn't really planning on watching but the first 5 minutes were really funny. And then when I figured out that the Mom was Martha Plimpton (from Goonies fame) I thought that was pretty awesome. jynx242
^ I recorded Raising Hope. Martha Plimpton is one of my faves! Â The Glee episode did quite a bit for the story arc, but I'll admit I was a bit disappointed in the music selection. Oh well - Coach Biest is AWESOME, Sue was funny as hell and next week is the Britany episode. Â Yay!
nursemelis374
What I liked most about this episode was the introduction of the new characters - Coach Biest is wonderful! I am sad that Sunshine went to Vocal Adrenaline. Â I wonder where Emma was in this episode? I heard that John Stamos was playing her dentist boyfriend and he is great. Â I have a hard time watching any scene with Rachel in it. I fast forwarded through her last song. She is just so annoying and mean, I don't think anyone would want to hang out with her let alone date her. Â Raising Hope was great! I also recorded the one with Will Arnett after that one - it looked good.
Sir Clinksalot
^ I got through about 5 minutes of the Will Arnett one before I turned it off. I found it incredibly stupid. Which is sad because he's really funny and Kari Russell is really hot.
tinkerbell
^^I'm pretty sure John Stamos is in the episode next week! Â This episode was decent and the new characters seem interesting, but I'm really just excited for next week. Yeah I love Britney, not going to deny it. dammie16@vt.edu
Was not a fan of Biest, after she started sobbing. Â But yeh when Brittany walks out of the office cuddling the doll I was laughing my a$$ off. Easily my favorite character! Â "Your mouth is huge how many tennis balls can you fit in there?" "The Bieber cut has to go."

moinab
I thought "What I Did For Love," was a really bad choice. Didn't work for me, at all. Â My favorite number was the one the new guy did. Â I think the coach is a great character, so far. Looking forward to seeing where they go with it.
