IwantRevenge Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 Caretaker the extreme underground birtish band thats not on LimeWire.
mr_teisco_delrey Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 There seems to be a point somewhere around 2000 where music headed downhill exponentially, in my opinion. Agreed! 100%. Try having kids that think all that crap is good. Sheesh! I keep a decent mix of The Who, Queen, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton (in various incarnations: The Yardbirds, Cream, etc.), older U2, Counting Crows, Joe Satriani, Kevin Cadogan, and finally Third Eye Blind's earlier stuff. That, and vintage Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, and Doobie Brothers.
masterofthematrix91 Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Phantom Regiment, The Cadets, Pink Floyd, any movie/game soundtrack, and the Madision Scouts i'm sure you all don't know who these bands are so, google them and you will get load of responses
Masked_Maverick Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Demon Hunter followed by Green Day (Long time fan way before American Idiot) and I have taken a liking to Fall Out Boy

vjgx Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 A VERY close tie between DragonForce and The Mars Volta! Both the bands are awesome in different ways, and I have every CD by each of them... (and yes I'm getting Amputechture by TMV when it's released Tuesday!! ) Discography for each band: Dragonforce: Valley of the Damned Sonic Firestorm Inhuman Rampage The Mars Volta: Deloused in the Comatorium Frances the Mute Tremulant [EP] Scab Dates [Live] Amputechture (coming out on Tues.!)
Primogen18 Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 My tastes are random but stay in the rock/hardrock/metal area, so my top 5 or so bands now are: Adema (mostly the older stuff and very new stuff with the 3rd singer and new guitarist, not a fan of "Planets" ) The Servant Soilwork (alot of the newer stuff) Spineshank (everything except Strictly Deisel lol, i dunno why) Machine Head (everything)
modelmaker Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 My taste is way to random to choose a favorite band . . . but I can tell you some of my favorites at the moment . . . - Kings of convenience - K's Choice - Faithless - Racoon - Cranberries Mostly I listen to rock music but it depends very much on my mood. I also love to listen soundtrack music (peter pan, jurassic park, titanic, amelie) as well as listening to acoustic music. These two I listen mostly when I am tired though.
ECZenith Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Seeing the Roger Waters sho whas reinspired me, and now my favorite band is Pink Floyd, too bad they don't exist anymore.
NitroRider Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 I like Kraftwerk, Gorillaz, Autolux and sometimes Coldplay.

Calaway Park Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Yeah, but still 100000000000000000000000x not as good as Deloused. No way will any other bands beat the ones I chose unless I choose more. Wait.. did that make any sence? Well... if it didn't... it should've.... GAWD it's all your fault.

I'm sorry, but anybody who has Creed on their list of favorite bands is not aloud to have an opinion.
