I searched "logos on front of trains" and found nothing.

So if there is already a topic on this (or discussion), I apologize.

So it seems like for most parks, that there is a trend of what logo to put on their coaster trains.

All the Busch parks seem to have the park's logo on the trains.

All the Cedar Fair parks seem to have the coaster's logo on the trains/no logo at all.

All The Disney parks seem to have no logo on trains.

Hersheypark seem to have the coaster's logo on trains.

Holiday World seem to have the coaster's logo on the trains.

All the Six Flags parks have seem to have the coaster's logo on the trains/no logo at all. (I do realize that Terminator Salvation: The Ride has the chain's logo)

All the Universal parks seem to have no logo on trains.

I generally prefer to see the coaster's name on the train because it feels more unique than slapping the park's name on every single ride. I especially love the front of the Millennium Flyer trains with the ride's logo on it. They just look so rad!

I'm not really quite sure which one to go with here though...

I really like how Busch Gardens Williamsburg just doesn't put the same exact logo on every train, they sort of tie it in with the theming of the coaster (font wise, etc.).

I seem to be in the minority here, I love seeing the park's logo on the trains, especially the 1970's/80's Arrow coasters. Often times, they'll have the park's old logo on them which adds to the nostalgia.

But on newer rides, I would think that it would be more approriate to have the ride's logo or better yet no logo at all.

I prefer the coaster's name for the reasons stated above.

Loch Ness Monster with the park's logo, and Kentucky Rumbler with the coaster's logo. Which looks better?

I can't really find a great photo of it anywhere, but have you ever seen the logos on Apollo's Chariot's trains? They are beautiful!

I'm sure glad they put the park name on the front of some coasters, otherwise I'd never remember what park I'm at...wait.....Hey! Where am I?! How did I get on the internet!?!?!

Me too on coaster logo. One of my all time favorites was the old wolf eyes on the front of the Big Bad Wolf trains. Always thought those were really cool. My only exception was the Opryland logo on the front of Wabash Cannonball. Just liked that better.

My current favorite example is Tremors.

It's simple, prominent, and gets the earthquake theme across. Plus the trains are a pretty color. Overall, it's very well-designed, and it doesn't clash with the less conspicuously displayed park name.

I did not cast a vote, because I would consider myself the thin majority that prefers both(i.e. Cedar Point), for a specific reason. I like the name of the coaster on the ride because of the character, and I like the name of the park because it shows a sense of park pride. However, in most cases, the park name on a coaster is for media purposes. Tatsu for example has "SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN" on car 2 of each train, due to the media day camera being afixed to the bottom of car 1. So just for dinnertime conversation, most of the onride pics of Tatsu are all of car 2.
