christianscoasters Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Hmm ... Thanks for making this! How do you get RCT3 Custom flat rides into the game? I have downloaded them, but IDK where to put them.
terrancew_hod Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 The custom rides should have the instructions, but generally you create a 'custom' directory under the Style directory. Then you move the ride there.
WSCM16 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 I'm having problems with the CS paths. Whenever I put them on a queue for a coaster, the mechanic can't go on them. The mechanic just stays in one spot, and it won't climb the stairs to the ride. I use Aceana's paths and for the station I used Shy Guy's Fish Cove Set. Do you have any ideas so that peeps can actually walk on them?
Speeddeamon128 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Thanks for making this thread. How do you take still pics? I no how to record videos but I can't figure out how to take pics.
monkeyoverlord71 Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Are you talking about RCT3 if so you need to put proper paths under the custom ones. The custom paths are only path covers.
mcjaco Posted March 2, 2009 Author Posted March 2, 2009 They're just path covers. Not actual paths. No one has been able to figure out how to macke custom paths that work. I'm moving this into the RCT3 Help Thread Sticky.
solowingdemon Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 I need help with making custom logos for my rides, could someone please help me with this?
TheHulk Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Thanks for making this thread. How do you take still pics? I no how to record videos but I can't figure out how to take pics. I just use the screen shot (print screen) key.
cstrfrk67 Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Been trying to DL Big Timber's v2.0 supports for woodies, but every link I find is a dead end. Does anyone here have a good link for this CS set, or maybe has it and could e-mail it to me? Thanx in advance 4 all help.
Azanderz Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Thanks for making this thread. How do you take still pics? I no how to record videos but I can't figure out how to take pics. press F10. I use Aceana's paths and for the station I used Shy Guy's Fish Cove Set. Thats why it is called "cover" I need help with making custom logos for my rides, could someone please help me with this? Do you mean Custom scenery or just a photoshop logo ?
DCQ-coasters Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Hey people! sometimes when i look at other people's rct3 parks the backround for the park is a city. When i tried to change the backround on my game the only two options are "None, and Mountains" Is there some thing that i have to download to get the city backround, if there is could someone post a link? well that's all so please comment if you have an answer. ADMIN EDIT: Moved into the RCT3 Help Thread. No need to start a new thread. And no need to requote your post after this one.
Rct3Mike Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 You need to open your park in the scenario editor, where you can customize everything from backgrounds to weather. -Michael
expeditioneverestfan Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 When name a peep D lean and you get the custom routes camera editor thing, how do you use that? And anytime I press the record button on it it's at the bottom of the screen. How do I use it?
Rct3Mike Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 www.designamatic.com/RCT3-FCRE01.html This should tell you everything you need to know. -Michael
expeditioneverestfan Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 I've downloaded some custom coaster cars but I don't now where to put them to get them in the game. Where do they go?
HPCrazy Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 I didn't know if any of you tried using the Steelworx "Support Killer" feature to eliminate the supports on the log flumes and mine train rides in RCT3? Do they all dissappear? I couldn't get the supports directly under the track (for those two rides types) to vanish. Is there something I am doing wrong or is there a trick to it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
nitrofan Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Does anyone know of any good sites that you can download recreations from? I've tried Coaster Grotto, but I can't find any other good ones. Thanks

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! It doesn't work on coaster that have "wooden" support type. Your best bet is to download The_Cook's trackbeds , and use the support killer in that set. It's a tiny square that you need to place just under the track , that should work OR if you don't want any support at all , go to option , show LOD settings , and then turn down both bars after supports
mcjaco Posted May 15, 2009 Author Posted May 15, 2009 ^ Using a scenery item, like one of the small boulders, and dropping it under ground will do the same thing too.
coasterdude5 Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 ^ No, that doesn't work. Not with wooden supports.
