gerd.muller Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Unfortunately, I own the first Spice Girls CD. ...believe me, you´re not the only one!!! And about me, I call a "Barry Manilow - Greatest Manilow" my own! (I was young and needed the money! )
paintballer Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Aaron Carter. Everyone of 'em. In fact, I'm gonna go shoot those cd's right now with my paintbal gun!
cfc Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Herb Alpert and the Tiajuana Brass: Greatest Hits. It's a guilty pleasure.
gerd.muller Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Herb Alpert and the Tiajuana Brass: Greatest Hits. It's a guilty pleasure. That´s no guilty pleasure, that´s TOTALLY AWESOMENESS!!!! Spanish Flea is cult on Student-Night-Partys at our local University! When you are just a little offense and you hear that song, you have to dance. The same is with "Whipped Cream Whipped Cream" and "Green Peppers".
terrancew_hod Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 I'm going way back, but I have the LP of Vanity's Pretty Mess special extended version... Wait... nevermind, that song was the jam back in the day... the video was just a mess.
bigstevet07 Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 This would be my CD of shame. I'm pretty sure I still have it somewhere. What do you mean you've never heard of this? No one is better than Dana Barros
ebl Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 I have both Air Supply's Greatest Hits and Barry Manilow's as well. Eric
Speeddeamon128 Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 That Kidz Bop crap from when I was younger is still in my possession.
SonOfBeastSucks Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Aaron Carter - Aaron's Party Aqua - Aquarium Nsync - No Strings Attached ...all of which I still listen to.
the ghost Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Smash Mouth- Still for the one song that was the biggest thing from the 90's. NSYNK! No Strings Attached- A birthday present from my sister. Song on my Ipod: Fergalicious/ London Bridge

My Mom used to listen to the Tiajuana Brass all the time when I was a kid--"Tiajuana Taxi" and "The Lonely Bull" tend to swim around my subconscious from time to time.
onewheeled999 Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 I think the most disappointing, not exactly the worst, CD I have is AC/DC's Back in Black. I know a little while ago I was saying it was the best CD ever, but now I've changed my mind completely. It has 4 songs (You Shook Me All Night Long, Back In Black, Shoot To Thrill, Hell's Bells) that are good in my opinion, the others just sound exactly the same and are pretty boring. Plus the CD doesn't have Let There Be Rock, which is like the best song ever.
odene497 Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 The first CD I ever bought was Britney Spears-Oops I Did It Again. I secretly liked it, and when my brothers all made fun of me for getting it I told them it was the only decent CD at the store. I also have two Backstreet Boys CDs. But those are awesome.

Disney Dood Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 ^You can't forget that those 4 songs were absolutely huuuuuuuuuuuggeeeeeeeeee, and it's the 6th best selling album of all time. Nothing really dissapointing there.
USCoaster Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Katie Price and Peter Andre - A Whole New World I bought it just so I could say I had it in my collection. I have no shame in admitting that I have CDs from Spice Girls, Aqua, Steps, S Club 7, Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync, and Britney Spears.
gerd.muller Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Good to see someone else appreciates the "classics." My Mom used to listen to the Tiajuana Brass all the time when I was a kid--"Tiajuana Taxi" and "The Lonely Bull" tend to swim around my subconscious from time to time. You know, that are those little melodies, that makes you reminding of "Nothing can ever really harm me as long I have my Family/Friends/etc. arround me!" and let you forget about all the hectic everyday-business for a little while! I call that the "Everything-will-be-allright"-Music!
scooterdoug Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 I'm so glad to see all the love for Herb Alpert. I am also a fan, I own Casino Royale on vinyl (I know, this is a CD thread, but it's still music). I have many other guilty musical pleasures. I have always been a sucker for Henry Mancini (my favorite album being Mr. Lucky Goes Latin). I also enjoy the cheesy Tiki bar/Polynesian sounds of Martin Denny. After a long day, that totally soothes me. -Doug Mai Tai music. Lots of strings and Hammond Organ to boot! Super-delicious cheese.
chrguy606 Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 As goes for "Embarassing", I'm not embarrased to have anyting that I do, but to go off of popular talk, I can say I have all the albums from the spice girls, britney spears, and aqua on my itunes. Some of those boyband songs were just good, and its ok to like hootie and the blowfish. Sorry, I could care less, hahaha.
cosmic hearse Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 A Musical History of Disneyland 6 CD Box Set It has nearly every song (on ride and in park) from opening day to the present.
Philrad71 Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Don't really have any cd's I am embarrassed about, but I had a ton of cassettes from my teen days of dabbling in death rock. Old death rock/thrash metal bands like Death Angel, Kreator, Nuclear Assault, Venom, Sodom, Exodus, Megadeth, Slayer, Forbidden, Cannibal Corpse, etc, etc...
