AmyUD06 Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 I'm really expecting this to be my most...interesting...ride yet. Thanks for all the comments, guys! Here are some numbers for you to speculate on: -3 -90 -55 -2480 -4 -77 Good luck! My guesses: -3 Inversions -90 degree drop -55mph top speed -2480 feet of track -4 negative G's going around that outside loop. -77ft peak height.
DBru Posted July 15, 2009 Author Posted July 15, 2009 ^Wow...you're good. lol All of those, except of one, are correct! (And the one you missed is pretty obvious. )
haux Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 All right. I was persuaded to at least post something I'm working on. This ride is called Copper Mine. It's a Vekoma mine train built into a couple of giant hills and next to a body of water. You know, like a mine. Sorry for the quality. For some ridiculous reason, these pictures were more than 500K in size, so I had to kill the quality. The first drop off the lift hill. A ridiculously shaped helix following the block brake. That helix comes before the lift. Above is the block brake. An overview of this mess.
coastb2 Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Looking amazing and thrilling. Here's my Panic Gear coaster.
nin Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Hello there. Some of you may know me, most of you probably don't. I'm a long time viewer of these forums yet I just never joined. Anyways, here's some pics from my latest rct2 projects... and this is from a refurb of the SFMM scenario
BelgianGuy Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Your a danger for my keyboard nin I can't stop drooling
raptor2011 Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Wow....nin...that looks really, really, good, I would love to see both of those parks have their own separate topic very soon, and I love the Six Flags Magic Mountain idea of redoing the original scenario.
coastb2 Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Are the tunnels on this mine ride finished yet? Is the whole ride done yet?
haux Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Are the tunnels on this mine ride finished yet? Is the whole ride done yet? Yeah. The ride's done. The tunnels are to simulate an abandoned mine. Some tunnels are complete, some are falling apart.
COASTER FREAK 11 Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 ^That was the point of what I was saying. You said you don't upload cause you cant fix the pumps in the track. But we would still like to see the coasters and don't care about the pumps. So why don't you upload it? Unless there was another reason that you didn't say.
haux Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 All right. You've persuaded me. I uploaded Copper Mine. You can check it out here.
coastb2 Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Here's a weird coaster that I'm working on. Space Coaster 4576. Space Coaster 4576-090716154738000.bmp
Thelegendarymatthew Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 meh', RCT3 is a turn on, turn off thing for me, ya know' black = where rails should be
coasterfreak101 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Likes? Dislikes? *EDIT: Updated picture.* SCR2.BMP Eh? Eh?
Coaster Cow Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Oooooo. I like the tunnels and the station (finally a use for that pesky abstract scenery!). Are the cars going to do any 360 spins over the bunny hops?
coasterfreak101 Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Yeah, over that bunny hop the train does a full frontflip. Unfortunately, I had to right the trains because of the spin limitations that RCT puts on the trains, so the trains do a really awkward backflip on the dip before the lift.
dr.gumbo Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 New *tooled* B&M I'm working on. The track work is mostly finished and I've started some of the support work. I'm also planning on adding some 3ds and an environment but as of now I'm not confirming any of it.
dmaxsba2408 Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Wow double tracked through the loop, that looks amazing.
KDCOASTERFAN Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Now that I've figured out how to do steel supports I'm getting back to work on my B&M hyper,Behemoth(not a recreation) & so far it's looking good but on testing the train fails to advance from the blocks just before the station so I'll have to work on that after finishing the supports.
