Manic Monte Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Not all of the Six Flags are hyping or teasing their new attractions, certainly not to the extent of SFFT. Let's hope they deliver.
azombi Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 why has the ss overboard been closed for the past couple of years? really liked it compared to the conquistador at SFOT. Its just there gathering dust!
Dar Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 What was the announcement they were making yesterday? I can't find any mention anywhere!
WallyWorldOrBust Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 What was the announcement they were making yesterday? I can't find any mention anywhere! The announcement they made yesterday was basically to wait till August 28th for the big announcement. More trolling, really, heh.
KBrylczyk Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Serious question about Hustler. What's so special about it? I looked up some youtube videos and all I can see is it's themed teacups.
Texasbest2015 Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 So what could our rides be a Woodie coaster a hybrid and Steel or a flat ride that's new ???
itsmeabel Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 More trolling from Fiesta Texas... Fiesta Texas (@SF_FiestaTexas) tweeted at 9:04 AM on Sun, Aug 24, 2014: Rockville Mayor to hold press conference at 2pm. #SFFT2015 @screamscape @aceonlineorg @TexasThrills @AboutThemeParks @ThemeParkReview ( )
loop-de-loop Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 The amount of trolling, both intentional unintentional, in this thread is incredible. SFFT thread: Come for the speculation, stay for the trolls.
Texasbest2015 Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Co me on 2 pm so it's about a ride closing or snakes getting worse in the Rockville area so MK booz gonna clean them out or Rockville been sold other than Wayne enterprise? ??
azombi Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 (edited) The Rockville Mayor welcomes the group with news of big #SFFT2015 changes on the horizon, and wants to put rumors to rest. The Mayor reminds everyone to come to the #SFFT2015 open house on 8/28 to preview all of the Rockville renovations first hand from 5-7pm. Rockville Mayor announces a full investigation will be launched to find out who has been spreading rumors about rides being removed#SFFT2015 Mayor confirms Poltergeist, Scream, Power Surge, Amerigoround, Taz Tornado and Daffy's Bus Stop all remain! KBrylczyk Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Boring. Not even a picture, just another announcement for an announcement. Time Machine.
SingleRiderCam Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Maybe they're just trolling people enough to make them use a Time Machine just to the real announcement.
Texasbest2015 Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 So with hustler staying what's the landscape for the new coaster or even if it's a coaster????
KBrylczyk Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 ^ They're gonna use a time machine to go back before Hustler was there and build it.
bert425 Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 CONFIRMED Hustler is not closing? I know this is a laid back site, but all the trolling really is a bit annoying at this point. was it really confirmed Hustler is staying?
RandallDuell Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 I'd say it's real - although I don't know, seems like Fiesta likes to play around a bit more than other parks..... Interesting that there was a report that ride ops were saying that both Motorama and Hustler were closing....wonder if that was intentional? And, boy, don't they love moving that balloon around?!?!

And, boy, don't they love moving that balloon around?!?! that looks pretty official to me. I'll bet they got a lot of feedback about how unique Hustler is, and were able to figure out how to install whatever new is coming without needing the space. (I'll bet it closes for construction tho).
KBrylczyk Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 ^ I ask again, what is so unique about Hustler? It's themed teacups. Am I missing something?
bert425 Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Serious question about Hustler. What's so special about it? I looked up some youtube videos and all I can see is it's themed teacups. it's not just themed teacups. .it's INCREDIBLY themed teacups. It's by far, the best themed ride in the park (the pad is a pool table!). I wish it went up and down like the old barrel rides, but Hustler is just such a classic bit of theming. .that's why folks love it. But if it's staying?. . . I'll bet it gets re--themed to the area. Harley Quinn's juggling balls anyone?
bert425 Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 ^ I ask again, what is so unique about Hustler? It's themed teacups. Am I missing something? LOL. .I just went back to answer your question

Kemotblue01 Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 ^I know where this discussion Thread might stray too with that post. LOL
coasterkid124 Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 This makes me really happy. Six Flags finally listens to an outcry to save an attraction (This one is actually worthy). I don't think that they would lie to an entire group of people. But this is Six Flags we're talking about.
