Double0Kevin
I've got to go with Giant Dipper at SCBB. Love that quick drop out of the station into complete darkness. And if you want to get super technical, everything on California Screamin' before the lift is fantastic since it's half of the ride
Angle O. Descent
Hydra's heartline roll as well as Thunderbolt's two drops are my two favourites.
gerstlaueringvar
If Powder Keg, Fluch von Novgorod and Takabisha's first half count as pre-lift sections, then...
DBru
^That's definitely cheating.
coasterbill
I wanted to post in this thread on Friday but couldn't think of any coasters with great pre-lifts, but then over the weekend we went to Dollywood for the first time so the answer became clear... Mr Stratosphere
I enjoy the pre-lift on Giant Dipper at Belmont Park in San Diego, the tunnel is a bit disorienting as well.
eddie200330
Thinking back to my younger days, the anticipation the first time I rode Loch Ness and we left the station on that short run through the woods.(Pre Griffon days)

ytterbiumanalyst
Thunderation. The entire coaster is pre-lift, with only one drop into the station after it.
GwaziBSRider1
Montaña Rusa at La Feria Chapultepec, but only during the first few rides of the day. Watching the maintenance workers having to push the train to the lift hill can be pretty funny.
ajfelice
That thigh smashing into lapbar airtime pop right before the lift on Kennywood's Thunderbolt is one of my favorite pre-lift moments. An honorable mention goes to Knoebels Twister in the section between the two lifts. Because this is located in the part of the coaster that's before the "main ride," I'm going on out on a limb to consider it pre-lift despite being after one lift but before the second. The unique factor as well as the relatively intense laterals given the low speed are a nice preview to what's to come later in the ride. For some reason I'm also a sucker for long, slow sections before the lift on woodies like on The Beast. I'm not sure why, but I just like that before an intense ride.
