DATman Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 well, there are walls over Flashback, so maybe they're doing something with it (hopefully removing it) I'd put in a Gerstauler Bobsled, as those things are INSANE!!

I dunno--as soon as you get on, you just might wanna get off. Tatsu--sponsored by Viagra. cfc... You do know that you are talking to a 13 year old. Right? Guy "enough said" Koepp

DATman Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 ^ok, I just never notice them on my trips, since I never go near the thing anyway (2 times was enough)
Mr.Six Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Just to clear up the "wall" thing. So we can get back on-topic. Those walls were added after the building to the left of Flashback became a "Season Pass Registration" building. The park didn't want that many people hanging around Flashback which is currently unsupervised. Seeing as how it was easy to enter flashback's queue. _six

Weird. (WOOHOO! the day after tomorrow... I can't wait!!!) -Amanda "My new favorite word is Tatsu" V.
Guy T. Koepp Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Yeah, it always has lights on at night. Weird as that is a part of the park that they probably don't want people hanging around. Guy "Just pointing out the obvious." Koepp
sfmmFREAK Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 i really wish it was possible to reopen metro. it looks like you could get some great shots of coasters from it.
Hitman16 Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Since today...the 15th is getting closer to being over, I think he was trying to say that there is one FULL day left. Plus its been said the announcement will be in the morning on the 17th so that gives us only a little bit more than 1 day
ebl Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 I'm going to have trouble sleeping tonight and tomorrow night. This'll be more exciting than Christmas morning! Eric
Hitman16 Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 "Six Flags Magic Mountain is revealing SOMETHING REALLY BIG!" When I think of something REALLY BIG, Superman isn't exactly the first ride to come to mind so i think we're safe on that one...But if it is a clone...i think ill really go insane
Mr.Six Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 Ummm...yeah. Due to the layout of the markers and other signs we can already tell that it isn't going to be a Superman Clone. _six
Blazen_AZN Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 "Six Flags Magic Mountain is revealing SOMETHING REALLY BIG!" When I think of something REALLY BIG, Superman isn't exactly the first ride to come to mind so i think we're safe on that one...But if it is a clone...i think ill really go insane it probably won't be a clone, and it probably will be pretty large. BUT, say SFMM was to bring in a clone, or somthin under 115 feet, what do you expect them to say? ON NOV 17TH SFMM IS REVEALING SOMTHING VERY AVERAGE!! i'd think any rollercoaster short of maybe a kiddie coaster would be considered a big edition. anyhoo, i really hope this coaster will be awsome, and i know i won't sleep tommorow night! my computer will be on right next to my bed, being checked every 30 mins from 5:00 to 7:30! and if it's not announced by then, in my first period computer class! This is the first coaster construction I've followed, so I'm pretty excited.
momo1tx Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 I would laugh so hard if all of you SFMM fans got a Superman clone after all of the hype. But I think this ride is going to be good, something that makes SFMM stand out. A terrain flyer to me is as motivating for me to go as, say, X.
Gnome Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 I wonder if they'll have the update on the internet at around 7:00.
Blazen_AZN Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 ^^ I would seriously die a little inside if it ended up being S:UF Thank god SFMM isn't six flags magic plateau! Terrain is a clone hater's best friend.
coasterdude5 Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 I highly doubt it will be a S:UF clone!
Guy T. Koepp Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 I think we all will be pleasantly surprised. Guy "Do I know something?" Koepp
Blazen_AZN Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 I think we all will be pleasantly surprised. Guy "Do I know something?" Koepp You tell me! Mark "I don't know $h!t" W.
Mr.Six Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 ^ I think I also might know something. If it is a internet press release then I wouldn't be suprised if it was on their site at 12:00 AM -Thursday. Seeing as how the info is probably already written up. All they need to do is program it to appear on the 17th. _six
ParkTrips Posted November 16, 2005 Posted November 16, 2005 ... and in the same sense you can program it to show up at exactly 10:34:19 if you wanted. It will probably be on their site in the morning since they don't have a big ceremony or anything, so I'll check around lunchtime est <<-- hopes by chance he learns the details at IAAPA tomorrow so I can tease y'all with it
