scbt Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 You can actually get around the access denied block by using the google cache. Also, Wow, there's a LOT of interesting stuff in there. Bourbon Street Fireball, Justice League Dark ride for SFStL, and a whole bunch of Fright Fest mazes. http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:5xmhQu7CDocJ:https://www.sixflags.com/internal-promo-category/home-page+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk Edit: ^darn, you beat me to it.
Rayj Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 If we are getting a carnival ride then we deserve to get something like : Jokers Jinx Backwards or another addition like gadv
RCF Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 If we are getting a carnival ride then we deserve to get something like : Jokers Jinx Backwards or another addition like gadv This is Six Flags America, so I don't expect it. Considering this is expanding the Mardi Gras section, which was just added, expect this to be the only addition next season.
Diamondbacker27 Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 I seriously think this is one of the worst things they could've added. Yes, it's better than nothing. But seriously a fireball for a Six Flags? Couldn't they have added something similar to the Chance Kentucky Kingdom just added?
Highridin Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 They'll call it a win too. A lot of people will enjoy it. I won't.
RyanTPM Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 How can they possibly even say it's a coaster, it's clearly a flat ride from that description.
coasterbill Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Why does it matter if they call it a coaster? We all know it's not... it's not like anyone's going to count it as a credit. It's just more dumb marketing by a dumb company. I still think these will be fun rides though, what they call it doesn't really matter.

Bad marketing, yet Cedar Fair calls a family ride a coaster, and not considered as horrible marketing ploy. At least, not as bad as what Six Flags ever gets.
Highridin Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 This would be a good addition if another was being built. Not good as their new, main 2015 attraction.
MagnumFreak25 Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Pipe Scream is more of a coaster than a Super Loop is though.
Highridin Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 (edited) If they were going to add a carnival ride, I'd rather have seen an on steroids Himalayan (coaster goes around a circle, planting riders to the side). Edited August 25, 2014 by Highridin
bill_s Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 If that thing's a coaster, KD had 16 coasters in 2010, including the working I305 model in the gift shop.
The Geek Mojo Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 So we know this much...Anybody figured out the other parks yet? SFOG – Super Loop SFA – Super Loop SFGAd – Super Loop SFNE – RMC Coaster SFGE - ? La Ronde - ? SFFT – 4D Free Spin Coaster SFOT – Justice League Dark Ride SFSL – Justice League Dark Ride SFGAm - ? SFM - ? SFMM – RMC Coaster SFDK – Super Loop
Diamondbacker27 Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 I'm actually suprised Great Escape isn't getting one of these Super Loops. And I am suprised some of the higher up parks are.
CPSFMMCW Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 It's not a coaster, but if they want to call it that, then fine. Cedar point did it. I personally am ok with this addition. It seems like something that would work well at a park like this, but not at SFGAdv. It's an ok ride. Fun the first time but it's not one of those thugs you reride over and over again. I would've rather seen a different ride added, preferably a skyscreamer.

eddie200330 Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 So they're calling it Bourbon St. Fireball........does that necessarily mean it is an actual Fireball/Super Loop?? I just took that as the name and not the actual ride make.....
Highridin Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Well,..now that we know, where do you think they will squeeze it? In between voodoo drop and zydeco, or, that area to the left of Cajun, or, do you think they will take down a ride in there to make room?
alilstronger Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I say they should add it between voodoo and zydeco. I have always said since this park was Adventure World they should put something there. This was it gives them more reason to put a walk way back to Gotham City.
coasterfreak101 Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 ^There's already a path connecting the two - they used to open it during Fright Fest, even. Would be nice to see it open for good (and spruced up a little bit) instead of leaving the new area as the dead-end that it is. Or, at the least, it'd be nice if they added another train crossing just to create a small loop all on the south side of Wild One.
Highridin Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Hella good deal on the season passes this year. Must be all of that money they saved on the 2015 rides..lol
