Scaparri Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Ahh what I'd give for a ten box of jalapeƱo cheese sliders right now. I don't care how close they look, Krystal is not the same! I'm having a serious crave attack right now. Awesome video, Robb!
FLIPDUDE Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Mmm... Coaster expedition 10... That has sucha beautiful ring to it, don't you agree? Ā Ā Heheh, awesome video, I love the "Caseyzilla attacks tokyo" bit. Ā "Raaawwwr" -"Punt!" *Ryan just stares in dismay at the collapsed tower* Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā I was really looking forward to trying white castle on the trip. I knew I might not like it because I was warned it's a taste you have to grow up on. Anyhow, luckily for me i entered the white castle on the trip a little late, so people already ordered their burgers. so I just mooched ne off of Max. And it was very very bad. I don't know what that thng was but that was not a bruger patty.
ebl Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 I've seen those frozen White Castle burgers in the market when I go, and I've been tempted... Ā But for whatever reason, I've resisted. Maybe that's smart! Ā Eric
TheRapidsNerd Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 btw, watching the video has made me want to go take a dump. Thanks, White Castle! Ā LOL! Damn that was funny! Ā Krystal > Potatoe Buns.
nojarama Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 I think I just threw up a little... Poor little kid-tums, she looked like she was ready to scream for help from child services! He-he!
Rideslover Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 btw, watching the video has made me want to go take a dump. Thanks, White Castle! Ā LOL! Damn that was funny! Ā Krystal > Potatoe Buns. Ā Ha ha ha, Very funny. Ā I haven't eat burger at white castle before.
RIP Psyclone Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 I heard that to promote the movie a few years ago, they actually opened a temporary White Castle somewhere in Hollywood! I hope they do againfor the sequel, because that was an opportunity missed. I have bought the freezer packs, but I'm sure it's not quite the same. Ā Ā Chick Fil A has actually been around the west coast for quite some time just not many of them. There was one right near my high school...yes...20 years ago! Ā Del Amo Mall location? It's still there. Ā Does it compare to In n' Out?Ā In n' Out is the bomb. period. Ā Apples and oranges, my friend.

I would assume that since the sequel has nothing to do with White Castle that probably won't happen...but it would be cool! Ā Del Amo Mall location? It's still there. That's the one! Ā --Robb
RobtheSquirrel Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 Is White Castle your favorite fast food place or you just like to go there every time to go on your trips? Ā I think the video you gave us was sexy.
BarryH Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 ^^Information on the "Harold and Kumar" sequel: Ā http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_%26_Kumar_Escape_from_Guantanamo_Bay Ā The trailer: Ā http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLXungxvj4E
Mechanic Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 I'm missing something... If these things are barely edible and wrench your guts like people say, then how does the chain stay in business?
robbalvey Posted April 6, 2008 Author Posted April 6, 2008 ^ I personally *love* them. And yes it does destroy your insides, but it's like eating blazing hot buffallo wings. If you like 'em, it's well worth the pain. Ā --Robb
ttd rox Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 Nobody conquers White Castle. It conquers you. Ā Well theres a true statement. Now I'm craving sliders right now!
spaceace12 Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 I like Kirsten (sorry about the spelling, probably wrong) facial expression when the white castle is near her. She doesn't even want to attempt them. Ā I think Robb's statement on whey they are open is true. I used to love them, last time I bought a 10 sack, I only had 3 and threw the rest out later. But there is times I can eat the entire sack.
ebl Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 This topic inspired me---I just got back from the Oxnard Chick-Fil-A. Good stuff! Ā Eric
RIP Psyclone Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 If we died and went to restaurant heaven, what would be there? In-N-Out, White Castle, Waffle House, Pink's Hot Dogs. I'm not sure Tommy's is quite worthy.
Meteornotes Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 5 Guy's Burgers & Fries destroys all other burger places. Ā And White Castle is totally one of those "love it or hate it" types of places. And there are enough people that love it that they stay in business. While I'm not a fan of the burgers, watching Robb & Joey devour a Crave Case full of them one night was amusing. Ā I just watched the video again and laughed even more this time. Really looking forward to the new DVD! Ā dt

Wes Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 there was a white castle,krstal,in-n-out all next door to each other an they each had eating contests on the same day and same hour what place would have the most custumors Ā the woodchuck who chucked the most wood
downunder Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 Glad I didn't hang with you guys after the trip, the one visit to White Castle early in the trip was a once in a lifetime to me, once was too many times. Ā We went to Wal-mart and then a resturaunt that serves real food the day after the midwest trip.
Mechanic Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 This thread got me interested enough in White Castle that I took a look at their website. I'll have to try one (or 10) someday if I get the chance. I'll also have to remind myself to have some Rolaids handy from the looks of the cooking process.
