Updated Tuesday 12/4!

I've received a lot of feedback on and off the boards. While I agree that the Freedom to the Caribbean would be the better choice, if more people are interested there is a cheaper option out of Los Angeles. It's a smaller Royal Caribbean ship, the Vision of the Seas. Robb and I have done this exact cruise before and it's a lot of fun. Here is some basic information...are there people interested in this one?

This ship is almost sold out and will sell out soon, therefore we need to know for sure if you are in or out by December 16!!! Even if you are a single, please tell us if you're interested and we'll get you a roommate just like on our TPR Trips!

Airfare from LAX is about $320 roundtrip (I already checked!). If we get a bunch of us to come in a day early we'll arrange transport, hotels, and a visit to some local credits before we board the ship on Sunday!

Robb and I would like to get about 20 people to go to make it an official TPR Cruise so please EMAIL or POST ASAP if you're seriously interested!

For those of you who have never cruised before check out our thread from last year on a smaller Royal Caribbean Ship: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=287201

Cruising is so much fun, and this is a great cruise for beginners and experienced cruisers alike!

So let's do it!

Who's in? I'd like to fill about 10 cabins to make it official!

Cabin #1 - Robb, Elissa, KT

Cabin #2 - Elissa's Parents

Others who are most likely a yes:

Joey - Jew

Joe - ParkTrips

Bryan - NotforSale

Bryan's Mom?

And here are some pictures to get you excited!

That's an awesome idea. I've always wanted to do one of these and I've heard and seen so many great things about Royal Caribbean. The price is pretty darn good for what you get too! Plus, I can't imagine how crazy it'd be cruising with you guys and other TPR members. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to hold out on a until I graduate. School ruins everything!

I used to work check-in for Royal Caribbean, so I know a few things:

-To go alone, you have to be at least 21.

-If someone 20 or under is in your group, there must be a guardian 25 or older present.

-If you are a married couple under the age of 21, the age rule is exempted.

-If there is someone 17 or under, a parent or legal guardian must be present, if not, there must be a signed AND notorized letter from the parent.

Oh, and if you're 18-20 you can drink beer and wine with your guardian's permission. The gambling age is 18, and you don't need permission for that.

btw to answer the question, you need a passport to go on a cruise now, and if you don't have one now you better hurry since its taking forever to process them these days!!

If you do the expidited service you can get it pretty quick. KidTums' passport only took about 2 1/2 weeks.

^^Thanks, saves me the trouble of copying and pasting from the rules!

So just like the TPR Trips minors parents will have to sign them over to me for the week so I'm their temporary guardian!

Also, we'll only take a limited number of minors because of the cabin sharing.

I'm going to update the roll call with those who have posted that they're interested so we can get an idea of if we'll do this or not!

Yeah I really have no idea if this will go over well or not.

But after getting yelled at last time for not announcing our personal vacation to everyone, I figured I'd at least try!

Seriously, cruises are so much fun, plus we can ride the Dania Beach Hurricane and do some 'Xtreme' stuff on and off the cruise!

I hope we get enough people too, but if we don't, we'll just go back to small private groups. So sign up now and make the TPR Cruise a reality!

Will there be a TPR Boxing League? And will Robb perform the theme from Love Boat?

In all seriousness though, this looks amazing but since I'm looking into doing the BB thing, won't commit to anything further. Would be interested in doing one in '09-'10 though if this came up again.

And when are they going to hurry up and design a cruise liner with a rollercoaster?

Some answers:

- Did you add in the Fuel Surcharge? It's an additional $35 total per person. That's how I got the final amount.

- The cruise departs and returns to the Port of Miami.

- Robb will dance, sing, box, surf, golf and eat a small humans worth of food everyday...yeah isn't that worth the price alone?
