Broadwayboy2007
I had to push viewing There Will Be Blood to tomorrow, but I'm still excited. I also am going to go see Strange Wilderness on sunday (which looks hilarious btw).
masterofthematrix91
^You will like There Will Be Blood Cloverfield Very intense (which is good for me) and if you like roller coasters you won't get sick with the camera angles. Very Nice, but it felt scripted, not like other movies i've seen shot like this. 8/
live2tell75
Recent movies I have seen: Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street Grade: B+ This was better than expected. It was another great combo of Depp and Burton. Really gory, but over the top, fake kind of gore. Wasn't crazy about the music. But loved the artistic direction of the film. National Treasure: Book of Secrets Grade: B Solid family adventure movie similar to the first film. Away From Her Grade: B+ We rented this last night for our Oscar fest, because Julie Cristie is nominated for best actress for her role. I had never heard of it, but it was very touching. The film deals with the heartbreaking reality of when Alzheimers effects the wife of a couple who has been married for 44 years. The Machinist: Grade: B- Christian Bale is good as a machinist that has had insomnia for over a year. The transformation of Bale's body into 120 pounds is shocking. He is basically a walking skeleton. Because of his insomnia, he has trouble distinguishing what is real and what are hallucinations.
Broadwayboy2007
There Will Be Blood: 10/10 VERY good. One of the most powerful movies I have ever seen. Daniel Day Lewis is sure to win Best Actor. For me, No Country was better, but this one is definitely worth checking out.

Groteslurf
I think I love my wife : 6.5/10 Random romantic comedy. I enjoyed it and at least I didn't fall asleep during the movie.
WDWliker
Cloverfield: 8.5/10 I think this is a very intresting movie. Only thing that made me deduct 1.5 points was the close up of the monster's face. Just anti-climactic.
Groteslurf
The Pink Panther : 9/10 I'm not a fan of the cartoon, nor am I a big fan of Steve Martin, but Pink Panther the movie is just great : nice story & very funny.
Manny In England
Platoon is the only movie that I've watched and then watched again straight away. It's just that good.
Broadwayboy2007
^ I've done the same with Spider-man 1-
DATman
^3 was ridiculously awful. It had so much potential for amazingness, but i don't think any of the cast remembered what acting was, and I doubt anyone read the script before they made it. Even the especially cool parts (Venom) were ruined by ridiculous things (like his high-pitched voice).
Broadwayboy2007
^ I enjoyed 3 personally, but you have the right to your opinion
SonOfBeastSucks
The Eye - The plot is sort of interesting, and it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I wouldn't have paid to see this in a trillion years though.
Broadwayboy2007
^ As much as I love Jessica Alba, I just cannot go back to PG-13 horror films
SonOfBeastSucks
^ I loved 1408!
Broadwayboy2007
^ lol, Sam Jackson saved 1408 for me, but it still was not near as good as The Mist.
SonOfBeastSucks
^ I liked The Mist, except I would have preferred the ending to be open for interpretation. I think Harden did a great job with her role.
Broadwayboy2007
^Agreed about Harden. I also really liked Thomas Jane, but I also really loved The Punisher so that's most likely why . I really liked the ending, it was just so sad.
downunder
Saw John Rambo, was pleasantly surprised, it wasn't jingoistic at all, and it had a lot of depth. It really highlights the genocidal crap that is going on in Burma right now and portrays Rambo as a deeply troubled man who hates what he is. And the action is kick a$$. Broadwayboy2007
So apparently New Line has bought the rights to do a remake of the recently released foreign film The Orphanage (El Orfanato). I'm not sure about you guys, but this makes me mad because it is basically like New Line is saying "Well we know most Americans didn't see this movie because they don't like to read subtitles. So we're gonna re do it so it can make more money." ugh...it just upsets me. This is the first time I have considered boycotting a film.
alpengeist04
I went to see Fool's Gold today. I thought it was pretty entertaining and it did have Kate Hudson in it. There's just something about her that I love. 8.5/
downunder
30 Days Of Night wasn't bad at all, really was suspenseful, and had some good twists.
SonOfBeastSucks
Vince Vaugn's Wild West Comedy Show - Some parts were funny, some not so funny. I do love Vince Vaugn though and it was entertaining.
