wildside Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 I watched an episode of her show for the first time the other day. There were parts of it that were very funny, but there were parts that were just plain stupid. Anyone else ever watch it?
coasterdude5 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 She's alright, I think she takes some stuff over the edge but I guess that's what it takes to please us these days, haha.
ebl Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Ultimage suckage and a waste of human cells. Â Eric
itsme102 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 She doesn't deserve a show. That's all there is to it.
ms13 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Cant stand her at all. Â And please have her stop hosting award shows!
bigjohnson51 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 I think most of her stuff is pretty hilarious. But I can understand why people wouldn't like her.
Homer Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Eh, I could care less. I don't watch her show and probably the only time I have "watched" her was when she voices Fry's girlfriend on Futurama.
Not For Sale Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Jesus is Magic was hilarious. Her show is also pretty good.
supertrooper Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Eh, I could care less. I don't watch her show and probably the only time I have "watched" her was when she voices Fry's girlfriend on Futurama. Â If you "could care less", why not go ahead and do it? Pesonally, I couldn't care less.
ebl Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 ^ Thank you! Misuse of that phrase has been one of my peeves forever! Â Anyway, I saw a notice in the paper that she was appearing at the Chumash casino. Therefore, I made plans to not go! Â Eric
RCFreak Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 I love her! Not the funniest woman alive, but I enjoy her humor, and her show.
Wes Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Inconsistent but funny. The show definitely has its moments, though. It just makes me happy to see Brian Poseihn play a gay dude, and all the cameos and bit parts by ex-Mr. Show people. Â RIP Mr. Show, still the best sketch comedy ever.
texashorns82492 Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Can't stand her. End of story. Â Â Â P.S. I LOVE how my school district doesn't block TPR =]]
bigjohnson51 Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 It just makes me happy to see Brian Poseihn play a gay dude  I agree that guy is awesome
Giovanolafan Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Hmmm Its not my Fav on Comedy Centeral Did anyone see Jeff Dunham Spark of Insanity?
Shavethewhales Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 She, like so many of the people in the comedy biz, tries way to hard to shock people into a laugh rather than do anything genuinely funny. When she isn't following the outrage fad, however, she can be pretty funny. Â Ah, remember Looney Tunes? No attempts to gross people out, no going to extremes to be somehow hysterical, no making idiotic racial slurs in a joking matter, just a well-applied dose of hard knocks and funny jokes. What happened to shows like that? Why does everyone have to follow the same fads to be funny?
ebl Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 ^ Looney Tunes still make me laugh, no matter how many times I see them---especially Road Runner and Coyote ones. Â But you're right. It does take more to impress us. We even see that in our hobby of theme parks and coasters. Bigger and better. 100 ft. tall rides don't impress anymore. Now they have to be HYPERCOASTERS!!! 200 ft. tall!!! 15 inversions!!! Â Perhaps it's just human nature to push the limit. Â Eric
Mr.Six Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 Its real hit or miss with her. Its either gold or crap. Just about whenever its on and I'm flipping channels I'll try it out, but she can be easily replaced with almost anything. _six
Buddy johnson Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 She's funny. HAHAHA By the way, she was so mean to Britney spears at VMA.
willski Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 She's terribly unfunny, I wouldn't mind at all if her show/all her gigs got cancelled.
MattJackson Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 I find her amusing, but she can be a bit crass at times. Her insult comedy is really good though, if I'm remembering her routine at Pamela Anderson's roast correctly.
