Manny In England
Post the best and the most annoying thing to ever happen to you at a theme park. Most Annoying: Being told Space Mountain is closed after leaving it until very near the end of the day Best: The operator lady running after me twenty or so seconds later to say its open again
PAShawn
Worst- Having Kids cut me at hershey and saying something politely and having her flip out and accuse me of harassment and telling the ops that, and having people defend me in line that I don't know. Having the ride op tell me to calm down and I did nothing and was trying to ignore the girl and she kept going off, as I tried to explain to op and she said we will believe her over me because she was a girl versus a season pass holder still annoys me to this day even with people backing me up I was very mad and took it up with guest relations and security then the dad of the kids wearing his wife beater tank top follow me around like he was going to do something. Anyway thats in the past Best Thing- 5 min wait maximum at universal and disneyworld for a whole week no matter what ride and also chiller 23 times without getting off but that turned into a bad headache but was still good. cobra_roll06
Best: Going into a 90 min queue for Nemesis @ Alton Towers and it really only was 20 mins!!! Worst: Getting in a 1 hour queue for TDZ at Parc Asterix which ended up being 2 hours as there was only one train running! Then when we are at the front of the queue, they put on the 2nd train!!! FeelTheFORCE
Best: When I went to SFMM, all of the coasters (except Flashback, of course) were open and ran all day with no problems. Even the sky tower was open. Worst: Going to CP this year on physics day.
WillMontu
Best: ERT on Balder, Grand National, and other good rides Worst: Losing stuff. It makes me mad
slither37
Best: Going to KI early in the season and every ride was a walk on. Actually went home early after riding everything 5x or more. Worst: Dislocating my shoulder on Firehawk in June at KI. I was doing the superman pose and at the bottom of the first drop, the train went to the right, buy my left arm kept going straight. Ouch. I did get the first aid cart credit though.
freestylenut
Best: No one memory in particular, but anytime I go to a theme park and have NO waits all around the park. Worst: Almost getting into 2 ugly fights at BGA. One over $10 I found on the floor...ugh! I wouldn't mind forgetting THAT incident.
resonancej
I'm not surprised, there can be a really rough crowd there sometimes. Anyway... Best: Getting to stay on a ride becuase there's no one waiting Worst: the ONE DAY out of the year I get to KD, the ride I'm looking forward to the most is closed (that would be Flight of Fear)
jten11
Worst - lost my cell phone riding Montu Going to any theme park in July Best - Got a lucky ride on Gwazi last year when both side were actaually dueling! Riding Goliath (SFOG) for the first time. (my first 200ft coaster) You decide -Having Ninja broke down as soon as I sat down on the train and pulled down restraints

Chadley
Best: Already knowing your vacation plans for next summer, and getting things lined up. Worst: Having to wait until next summer! Non-Amusement Park Related Best: Being asked to coach your sons soccer team...and believing it's an honor! Worst: Discovering they only asked you because all the other parents said "No". IceDragon
Worst: popular coasters getting queues over an hour Best: finding out they're working out queue times on averages and actually the wait is only 25mins! (God bless Nemesis)
XII
Best: Don't have a best Worst: Almost getting kicked out of Cedar Point for filming in Millenium Force's Station. WTF? I give the Millenium Force crew 2 fingers up and declare them the worst operators for any ride I've ever been on.
All Clear
Worst: Driving all the way to Cedar Point (9 hours) only to be rained out and never even see the inside of the park plus being evac'd from Breakers Express in the middle of the night. Best: Voyage ERT after dark plus fudge.
niiicolaaah
Best: ERT on Balder Worst: Chipping my tooth on a water slide.
Tanks4me05
Best: Finding out at Sylvan Beach's Shooting Gallery that you can set off all the targets at the same time by taking a picture of the interior with the flash of your camera is turned on. (Timed right, you could potentially scare a lot of people if they are close enough) Worst: Only Gwazi Tiger ran during my trip to BGA. I know that is usual, but the ANNOYING part about that is when I went to Adventure Island the day after, both sides were running. To top it all off, the day after that, as I left the hotel, both sides were STILL running.
carolinacaniac
Worst: kids on heelies OMG!!!!! I cannot stand it when Kids are rolling along on those damn things in stores, malls or other places of business. I am cool with them doing it at a park or in their neighborhood, but at place like I mentioned should be no-no's, especially since most of the kids around here don't seem to worry about running into other people. Rant over. Best: Meeting my wife while working at my favorite amusement park (Cedar Point) Worst: a tie between people who were being stupid and loud so you couldn't hear the storyline for Houdini's Great Escape at SFGAdv, and Annoyingly loud girls that kept bumping into us while in the small enclosed line of Corkscrew Hill at BGE
coasterdude5
Best: Riding Thunderhead over and over again this summer at Dollywood... I didn't even have to re-enter the line. Worst: Waiting an hour and a half for a ride at Libertyland.
Jumboshrmp
Worst: My friend losing her purse on space mountain, and when I told the Cast Member what happened, he said that we could only get the purse back at the end of the day, or in the event that they had a breakdown, they would go get it for us. Best: Having the work lights turn on and hearing an announcement of technical difficulties about 10 seconds later. That is probably my favorite theme park story ever, and I have it written out with full detail in a trip report I posted on here somewhere. Check my recent posts, I guess. DarkMeasures
Best: Spending 3 weeks at Disneyworld. It was so relaxing.... so awesome... and well... I really wish I could do it again. Worst: My cousin getting sick while we were at Cedar Point. At the end of the first day, he felt sick, so he stood home the second day. It was 1998, the year Power Tower opened and we were about to go on the ride. And we got a call that we was in the hospital. I was very sad... (luckly, I managed to ride every coaster except junior gemini already.)
bobafett
Worst=Reporting a line jumper at Six Flags Great Adventure and after the ride I was approached by security and they wanted to arrest me because she said I assaulted her. Well you can imagine my reaction. It escalated into something very ugly but in the in end it worked out to my advantage, but I haven't been back there since it happened which was about 6 years ago. Best=Getting stuck on DD at IOA this past August for about an hour after a transformer went in the park due to the heat. It was toward the end of the day anyway and we did have express passes for that day andwe did just about every ride in the parkI went to guest services afterward and asked how I could be compensated and the young man asked me what did I want and I asked for express passes for the next day at Universal Studios and he said he would give express passes for both Universal Studios and IOA for the next day. I told him if I wasn't married I would have kissed him. Then going to Universal Studios the next day and getting unlimited front of the line access for all the rides in both parks and riding the Mummy like 100 times in a row! Then when we were done we gave our express pass tickets to a family with kids that were heading to the parks that evening. They were very grateful and hugged us and it turned out to be a great weekend at the parks for us.
