Best:

-Indiana Jones (DL)

-Survivor (GA), gives you stuff to talk about when waiting in line.

Worst:

-Any lines that have lots of switchbacks.

-Riddler's Revenge @ SFMM: I HATE when you get into the station and it's dark, hot, and espcially how the lines are diagonal!

-Batman @ SFMM when you get onto the enclosed stairs, makes me feel claustrophobic.

Best:

Mystery Mine at Dollywood. The que at least moves you around instead of doing the walk back and forth on the same land. It also had lots of misters and fans working, at least when I went.

Worst:

Firehawk, its hidden so it looks like a walk-on, and the actual que is a just terrible with some dopey ride op telling you to wait because they can't count.

Any Batman the ride que, does it really have to be soooo long and pointless. At St. Louis it takes longer to walk the stupid park then walk the rest of the que, ride the ride, and discuss the funky smell in the station.

The Worst:

-Kingda Ka (Terrible attempt at a jungle)

-Riddlers Revenge (Do they clean that thing?)

-Superman Ultimate Flight

-Bababoooey!

-Superman R:OS

Best:

-Top Thrill Dragster (I love to watch the people blast off and then see them return with their hair all blown back!)

-Mean Streak (when there was a line)

-Renegade

-Sea Serpent

-Return of the Mummy (The best!)

Dragons all the way! Hulk and Mummy were fantastic as well.

The worst queues are any kind of wet/dry slide (Yosemite Sam's Sidewinder,{SFMM} Western Chute Out {Hersheypark}). When theres no line, you get completely winded trying to get to the top. When there is a line, It moves 3 ft. every 5 mins.

I can't belive I'm about to do this, but I am going to BASH CF!!!!!

Dorney Park was really awsome, and so was their waterpark. However, the biggest slide complex had endless stairs and BLACK CARPET for the entire queue.

My feet were actually burned on the bottom by the end of the day...

Manta at Sea World Orlando is easily the best queue I've been in. The fact that it's pretty much an aquarium just makes the waiting more entertaining. Then the part where it meets the stairs to the trains is filled with the deep blue lighting combined with very mellow music which gives a very soothing vibe. Almost any ride at IoA has a nicely themed queue.

And while I haven't been on in, Black Mamba's queue looks great as well. I just love how it intervenes with the ride it's self.

Worst:

1. S:EFK

A long stretch that moves very slowly and is very claustrophobic and dirty. Also, the loading area has bent rows, so being assigned a certain row can mean a much longer wait time. (Yes, they do assign rows, and yes, they do screw the process up that badly) The only saving grace is the -air conditioning.

2. Space Mountain (DLR)

The indoor queue is okay, but this only makes up about ten minutes of the waiting. The rest is a plain, endless pattern of switchbacks on top of a large roof with absolutely nothing to look at.

3. H:RRR

Universal has so many awesomely themed queues. So, what happened here? This one is just a bunch of switchbacks under a roof. The only things you can really watch are the one small section of the coaster you can see, or the stupid video they have on the TV's that they play on an endless loop.

4. Xcelerator/Gold Striker

Almost no shade. That is all I have to say.

5. New York, New York

Located in a Vegas casino. I hate casinos. And Las Vegas in general. This ride is one of my favorite things about Vegas (which is very sad)

Best:

(0. Dragons before the addition of Potter)

1. Forbidden Journey

2. USO Mummy

3. Indy

4. Manta (SWO)

5. Thunder Mountain (DLR)

Worst:

1. Maverick - The line can move painfully slow but the payoff is well worth it.

2. Gatekeeper - They have shade canopies along the fence but I've hardly seen anyone use that area of the queue. The part where majority of the guests wait in is has no shade plus you feel boxed in

3. Raptor - In certain parts you get the boxed in feeling like at Gatekeeper plus no shade

4. The Bat/American Eagle/Viper (SFGAm)/The Boss - All four suffer from having queues that feel like it takes forever to get through. Viper's not all that bad but still rather lengthy.

5. Volcano - While a little lengthy the indoor part right before the boarding platform feels claustrophobic.

6. Grizzly (KD) - It's on this list due to its location. Why do we have to go through Dinosaurs Alive's gift shop just to get to it?

Favorite:

1. Banshee - With it right next to the vertical loop and zero-g it helps get you pumped up for your ride.

2. Curse of DarKastle - Well themed and it gets you in the mood for your ride.

3. Verbolten - There's plenty to look at while going through the office and garage portions of the queue.

4. The Beast - I don't know what it is about the Beast's queue that makes it among my favorites but walking through it really gets my adrenaline going and excited for my ride.

It's hard to top the queue for Journey to the Center of the Earth at Tokyo Disney Sea or the queues for the various Tower of Terror rides (even the outdoor section of the original in Orlando is fairly creepy and sets the mood well, and Tokyo has the best of the hotels). Disney also did an excellent job on the queue for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Little Mermaid rides at the Magic Kingdom. And let's not forget Indy at both Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.

I do like the queues for Revenge of the Mummy, Men in Black, Spider-man, and Escape from Gringotts at Universal.

My favorite lines would be...

1.Indiana Jones at Disneyland

2.Always liked pirates of the carribean.

3 . Dueling dragons

4. Harry potter

5. Batman dark knight.

Least favorite hands down would have to be Batman the ride at six flags parks. The air conditioning is never working, and it's hot as hell waiting in that stairwell.

Which is too bad, as this is one of the better theming jobs Six Flags has ever done. But, yeah, it's always hot and miserable in those queues (another good reason to buy Flash Pass).

Some of my favorites (in no particular order):

-Exterminator at Kennywood

-Space Mountain at WDW

-Dragon Challenge at IOA

-Verbolten at BGW

-Former Disaster Transport (Back when the ENTIRE queue was open)

-Flight of Fears

-Manta at SWO

-Joker at SFM

-Revenge of the Mummy at USF

Ones that I really don't care for (again, in no particular order):

-Expedition Everest - I'm so over the Bigfoot hype. The theming irritated me more than anything.

-Batman the Rides - They need AC in the tunnels. I almost collapsed from heat exhaustion in one of them in 2012.

-Medusa at SFM - I hated going through the gift shop to get to the entrance. Hopefully, it's been changed with Medusa Steel.

-Dragon Coaster at Rye Playland - It's very cramped and you have no "personal space."

There are only 2 queues that stick out to me off the top of my head

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey which was absolutely fantastic - the detail and references they made to the books and movies were great.

Volcano at KD was terrible, it was just a hot, stuffy cave where you couldn't see anything and a hot, stuffy gazebo where you also can't see anything.

Best

- Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey

- Manta (Sea World Orlando)

Worst

Gatekeeper - The queue has amazing views of the lake and a ton of shade canopies which is nice if it's a Halloweekends Saturday but otherwise you'll be waiting in the part of the queue that has a ton of switchbacks nowhere near the lake and no shade canopies to speak of.

Green Lantern (Great Adventure) - The queue starts off with a ridiculous layout of switchbacks that are never full but you can't bypass without sliding under or jumping over the railings. If you choose not to do this expect a ton of people to cut you in line.

Yeah... you have to walk through all of that, and no... the line will never be back to this point because the ride sucks.

Once you get through that the rest of the queue is a ridiculously ugly path back to the ride.

Seriously... there's ugly and then there's this.

That theming... so good.

Photos from Great Adventure History.

Those pictures actually make it look nicer than it really is... here's a nice video of the queue line.
