gisco Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 I missed you by a few weeks. I just got back from WDW and I thought of you when I went by the Germany in Epcot. At least I got to talk to you a bit when you came out West to the Alvey's party. Glad to hear your back safe and hope you can come back soon. Bob
CaseyFish Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 What a great thread. Well I have no pics of visiting Soren in Florida but I did get to chaffuer him around to LegoLand when he was in California. We got to talk alot about disneyworld and all kinds of cool stuff on the way down. It was really great meeting you and I am sure I will see you again, after all I have to make it to Germany at least once in my life...something called Octoberfest I think:)
Bubba83 Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Oh my, I just now came across this post, awesome! Hi Soren, I know you only from the beer thread, and was wondering where you went off to. It was always interesting to see what weird meals you'd eat along with your beers =P Good to see you are back in Germany! I love Germany, it was so awesome when I visited but I wish I would have had more time there... This is quite possibly my favorite picture of all-time on the site! LOL!!! Bis später, tschüss!
MrMorgan Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Wilkommen zurueck in Deutschland! Unfortunately, I never got the chance to come to EPCOT and end up in this very interesting thread. Oh well. How do you feel now that it's over? I remember when I left after my internship at Disney, I though, "OK, I'm really glad I did that, but I've had enough now." Sadly, I haven't been back to WDW since my last day as a cast member in 1994!!! Been to Tokyo, Paris, and Cali, but never back to FL.
Hattuchili Posted June 26, 2007 Author Posted June 26, 2007 I am to old for that. Who want to adopt a 27 years old Disney freak? haha Hey, at least I would be getting the perfect "KID" and Cincinnati has a very rich German heritage. We have the largest Oktoberfest celebration in the United States!! You'd fit right in! Shari Hmm, let me think about it... The Oktoberfest is a good point...
Hattuchili Posted June 26, 2007 Author Posted June 26, 2007 @ Rick: I had so much fun with you both at Six Flags. Thanks again for showing us around, I had so much fun. Oh, the pictures are awesome. @ Erik: haha, I remember the wheel at DCA, the swinging was so bad. Anyway, I wnt to say thanks again for everything in the last 15 month at Disney. I always had so much fun with you and Leanne. I will miss that and the best on the the top was our Cali trip. I am sure I will never forget that. I think I will be back till 2008, so I will make sure to see you again. @ Julie: The picture is great. I remember your phone call and you said "I am infront of Chatham Square, come and see me!" ... and then you surpriesed me with the Castle White Burgers. I am not sure if I toold you, but I ate them all that night - all by myself! haha @ Casey: Thanks again for driving us and showing us around at Disneyland. I really had fun. @ Everyone else: Thanks for the awesome time I had there in the US.

Sadly, I haven't been back to WDW since my last day as a cast member in 1994!!! Been to Tokyo, Paris, and Cali, but never back to FL. On one point I was glad that is was over , because the work was not really a big challenge for me, BUT... I had the best time fo my life. I met my girlfriend, which is the most important point there. I had the great opportunity to meet so many great people from the boards. I had the chance to ride so many coasters in Florida and California and the wheater was awesome. In total I loved the year and I am glad I made it. I definitely would stay longer if I could, but the Visa stuff sucks. --Soren
coasterchi Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Cool! I'm on the very first photo in this topic! Hope you had an amazing time up there in Florida! We sure did like our visit there! Well, see you around!
Hattuchili Posted June 26, 2007 Author Posted June 26, 2007 This is such a great thread Soren! Hopefully we'll see you in about a week or so at Phantasialand! My favorite Soren picture: haha, when was the last time you made that with Elissa. I hope she is not sad, that you had me on your arms insted of her! I hope I will make it to Phantasialand next week. I am still working on it. --Soren
niiicolaaah Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Yeah, so, when I went to Epcot, Soren wasn't there. FAIL! hehe
bgwfreak Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Boo! I wanted to meet you Soren as well! Hope you make it back someday soon. I will be getting back to O-Town in the next 2-3 years hopefully.
FlyerACE1 Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 What a great thread, Soren! I'm really glad Ellen and I were able to meet you on our honeymoon back in September. Was very cool! I think our favorite place to hang in all of Walt Disney World was Epcot's World Showcase. Lots of beer, wine, food and good times. A definite highlight of our two week honeymoon! Best of luck back home. Hopefully we'll get to meet again! Soren, me and my Spaten Optimator (yumm!!). In your photo, you see my wife Ellen. She took this photo.
Hattuchili Posted June 26, 2007 Author Posted June 26, 2007 ^ Adam, that is really a good reason to go to EPCOT. I also love all the food stuff there and the beer. hehe --Soren

sfne2005 Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Yo Soren, There must be some pics of us when TPR did FL in October 06 (sadly I have none). All I know is when you met me your girl had some problems with the police (well roommate anyways). Coincidental huh? Hope to see you in germany next week. Rich
cfc Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Well, Soren, I didn't meet you at Epcot, but it was fun hanging out with you and the rest of the group last October. That dinner at Ohana's was awesome. Chuck
