^Ok now could that meant that there is a possibility that every B&M hyper would get them? It just sounds pointless to me (but still doesn't mean it won't happen)

I have another RMC layout idea, this time for one of the most infamous RCCA woodies:

Iron Express (Coaster Express at Parque Warner Madrid)

Stats:

Height: 135 feet

Inversions: 3

Speed: Over 50 MPH

Mockup layout of Coaster Express for reference:

First drop is made far steeper, with the helix thingy after it turned into a NTaG-style overbank.

Hill with 45-degree turn is made into a 153 (the wtf inducing element from Outlaw Run)

180 Degree turnaround is turned into an overbank similar to the one on SFGAm's Goliath

Helix after turnaround is removed, and the airtime hill is turned into a Zero-G Stall

Turn after airtime hill/zero-G stall now has 90 degree banking

Bunny hill under turnaround supports remains, with a barrel roll added after.

Feel free to suggest the woodie I should give the hypothetical RMC treatment to next!

^That sounds great! I had actually thought of that possibility before but hadn't bothered to think of a layout. Parque Warner is the closest decent theme park from home (even though it is in a different country) so that would be awesome!

Plus they haven't really added any big coaster since they opened 12 years ago so either that or an airtime filled ride (which they're lacking). Maybe an intamin giga with Skyrush trains (and improved restraints)?

/\ What the heck is that?

Anyway, time for some more hypothetical RMC goodness given to a crappy wooden coaster.

Today's subject: Darien Lake's infamous Predator!(sorry, no layout pic for this one)

Steel Predator/Lake Monster:

Height: 110 Feet

Speed: over 55 mph

Inversions: 3

Airtime hill after first drop is turned into a Zero-G Stall

First turnaround turned into overbank (NTaG variety)

Curving airtime hill remains the same

Second turnaround turned into a "twist and shout" element ala SFGAm's Goliath

Second airtime hill after twist and shout/turnaround is turned into a Zero-G roll

Final turnaround in the supports is turned into a cutback

once again, feel free to suggest what woodie I should do next for this! (for those who want to see me do Bandit at Movie Park Germany, I already did the Georgia Cyclone, and those two have the same basic layout (Cyclone Clone)

I'm curious to know what you could come up with for Mighty Cananadian Minebuster at Canada's Wonderland. I know I've had some ideas but I would love to see someone elses thoughts.

I figure I start throwing in "wild guesses" about what Darien Lake should do with the empty space where 'Cuda Falls was, but this i'm placing the ideas in the appropriate thread (this one). One of the ideas is to move Motocoaster to the old Barracuda Bay/'Cuda Falls area and dig up the campground swimming pools because now the campers at Darien Lake have to walk all the way to the water park in the front of the park to swim (and slide). Another idea is to relocated the catered picnic grove to there and use the old picnic grove for a Splashtown expansion.

Unnamed Mighty Canadian Minebuster RMC:

Height: 95 Feet

Speed: Over 57 MPH

Inversions: 2

The turn after the lift hill is now part of the drop

Airtime hill after the waterslide on the "out" run is turned into a barrel roll

Turnaround is turned into overbank

hill over the walkway to the pink/purple slide is turned into a Zero-G stall

Helix at the end has much steeper banking than it currently has, with 90-degree banking in the tunnel

Next up: Either Great White from Morey's Piers or Mean Streak.

AND NOW... THE MOMENT A FEW OF YOU WERE SORT OF WAITING FOR....

RMC MEAN STREAK!

Steel Streak

Height: 165 feet

Speed: over 65 mph

Inversions: 3

Ride layout:

First drop is made steeper

Second hill/turn is made into an 110 degree overbank, as well as the hill/turn after it

turnaround thingy that wraps around the lift is made into a hammerhead turn (think B&M Hyper)

Turn after hammerhead/turnaround has 90 degree banking

flat track in between that turn and the next turn is replaced with a barrel roll

airtime hill between turn after barrel roll and 180 under lift hill has a bigger drop

hill between the track leading in and out of the hammerhead is turned into a Zero-G Stall

Barrel roll added during straight bit under supports.

Now for one you guys didn't ask for, but I really wanted to do: Great White at Morey's Piers

Unnamed Great White RMC

Height: 120 Feet

Speed: over 55 MPH

Inversions: 2

Layout:

Prelift tunnel under pier is altered to contain a Barrel Roll (I think this would be cool and would be quite marketable.)

First drop now near-vertical

First turnaround is now a SGAm Goliath-style overbank

Second turnaround now has far steeper banking

Third turnaround now has 90 degree banking

Airtime hill through lift supports is now a zero-g stall

Turn back on to the pier is turned into a Millennium Force style "victory turn" (but smaller, obviously)

^ I think I have worked with them myself, at least that's what I want to believe, haha.

Upper pic: A picture I posted on their wall about a new element.

Lower pic: That same element in the upcoming Kolmården wooden!

(I know that's more than probably a coincidence, but let me dream, shall we? It already happened with the Banana roll, though back then I didn't sent the idea to Gerstlauer)

^Haha! Interesting. I had actually once thought of an element like the zero g stall (but didn't sent the idea anywhere) and then, when Goliath was announced - there it was!

^^ I think that's more like Outlaw Run's outside banked turn with only 90 degrees banking than a brand new element. Iron Rattler's outside banked turn also inclines a little bit.

I had the idea of a Flying drop tower and drew a concept art of it. Three days later, Falcon's Fury was announced but the shape looks completely different just saying it's totally common to have the same or similar ideas with the coaster designers. Unfortunately, people only remember those who bring the idea to real life work hard and be a coaster designer!

I agree it does look like similar, but there are as much differences as between a camel back and a zero-g roll. One is an inversion, one produce (lateral) airtime.

Don't worry, none could have imagined the shape of FF vehicule beside those crazy Intamin guys!

Cwis my home park, and I've been wishing they'd do this ever since NTAG. My guess is that CF will eventually do it, as they've been spoiling us rotten over the last few seasons, and the chain will eventually need to catch up to SF and their RMC new hotness.

If a Minebuster remake isn't Canada's first RMC, I'd inagine La Ronde would get it. They're an SF park, and Monster (their piece o s*** woodie) will eventually break and die sometime lol.
