Is it just me or is this a pretty good idea?

And before you say, "lol it would lyke kill you", the fact that the safety needs to be improved is a given, no?

I'm supporting the concept, not the ride itself.

Yes, best idea ever...I thnk you should build seven of them in Fresno! Only let Fresno people take part. Only good can come from this.

That looks even worse for your body than normal bungee jumping.

I think, in general, the fact that the safety should be improved is a given. I'm not stupid, this would probably give you whiplash one time out of ten.

That looks like the dumbest thing ever. (the ride itself, not the concept)

Home built bungee tower using an ATV to launch the girl??

I was just surprised the cord didn't snap.

Looks like it's time to thin the herd again--a good candidate for this year's Darwin Awards.

:omg: That looks crazy! I would love to do that, but it looks like it would hurt quite a bit. Ouch...

You probably wouldn't feel much after you slam into the ground.

That looks like so much fun! I mean if it weren't like being launched out of a cannon several times in a row it would be great. Having those cords fail would suck though, could probably fly a few hundred feet until you hit a tree in that forest. Would also suck if you're ATV gave out and you have more of an arc motion, being launched out of a cannon, then slamming into the ground, then more being airborne, then hello to Mr. Ground again.

This is equally just as odd

And a lot more dangerous; the single pole/area of contact leads to danger of smacking into or wrapping around it. Probably more exhilerating than a regular Slingshot, though.

I am suprised that girl wouldent suffer massive brain trama or an concusion.

Brain Trauma like an aneurism or pre existing condition. Oh yeah.

For a concusion to occur she would have to sustain some sort of blow to the head. So unless the bungee cord broke and she slammed into something. In the position the harness kept her, the possibility of that is not likely.

Not that this is by any means safe at all.

I say:

BEST...RIDE...EVAR...

Better than that homemade robot-arm ride, and WAY better than any backyard coaster could ever hope to be!

horizontal bungee thing is really looking crazy fun but the girl looked

like she woulda got any traumas in her brain at least. she was doing

freaking speedy bouncing in the air!
