Coasters In Need Of Paint

Which roller coasters do you think are in need of a new paint job. I thing the Top Gun at PGA needs a coat of paint. It would be cool to see the Top Gun in Jet Black paint. Post pictures of the coasters too!

Well I haven't been past it recently but Twister 2 at Elitches sat all of last year with a newly replaced first turn... Unpainted... That was an eyesore. Good ride but that turn looked terrible.

^ Twister II may have a newly replaced turn that hasn't been painted. But it's nothing compared to this coaster.

Cyclone at Six Flags New England

 

Keep in mind, the new drop hasn't seen a drop of paint since 2001. Nor has the rest of the coaster.

Jusge at SFOT as well as Batman and Freeze .. they could all use some paint .. Viper at SFAW was pretty bad as well, just faded more than anything

Magnum XL 200 DID, but I have confirmed (I hope) from a friend whos father does that work that hes been painting Magnum most of the off season.

 

I think next is definatly Millennium Force. That dang thing is not a light shade of purple, far from its nice deep shade of Cobalt Blue :\

I'd have said Batman: The Escape at SFAW, but I think the thing did get repainted a year or two ago.

Yup got painted last year, Ultra Twister and XLR8 as well .. Ultra Twister is being repainted as well as Serial Thriller and Viper for 2005/2006 and possibly Texas Cyclone

I think Magnum really needs a new paint job. It's supposed to be red, but it's turned into more of an orange...

XLR8R Definitly needs a new coast of paint. The is supoosed to be red, but insteaed, its a light and creamy pink.

I'm going to have to rip on SFKK here. Chang gets my number one vote. This ride just looks hidious. The paint is starting to flake off all over the ride. Not too mention the paint is so incredibly faded from its original bright colors. I've attached a picture I took a few weeks ago. The camera makes this thing look good. Pardon the blurriness of the photo. I took the photo with the camera as zoomed as possible.

 

T2 is also in really bad need of a paint job. If I were Six Flags, I'd be embarrassed to call T2 one of my rides, not only for the ride experience, but the appearance. Instead of being black, the ride is black, red, rust, and green. See the photos I've attached.

I would say some of the trackage on Ninja@SFMM could use a paint job.

I think parks should paint the rides every year.. just to look nice.. ya know?

I say they need to put Scorpion back in its original colors.

 

Its current Orange and Blue scheme is too similar to SheiKra's red and blue. Especially since, from certain angles, they blend right into eachother and it's hard to tell which is which.

 

Bring back the orange and black!

How much does it usually cost to paint a whole roller coaster? Wouldn't it be expensive because of the special type of paint they use?

anything at SFNE>.. Most most of all... Cyclone Thundrbolt and the SLC... the boomerang could use some paint to..

 

ALso canobie should paint the new wood on cannonball...

High Roller at the Stratosphere is in dyre need of a paint job. It is supposed to be red but looks orange and some white... Not the best ride but hey its there and it should look good right?

I would also have to vote for Ninja at SFMM. That thing seems to fade more and more while other coasters in the park are kept looking fresh! Too bad, because it's still a decent ride.

Oh yeah totally forgot about Chang, sad it started flaking a few months after it got painted .. cheap wal-mart paint used there.
