BDG Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 The elevator doors open and you see the following: Great decoration.
TheStig Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 ^Is that like painted on the floor or something? Ive seen a lot of photos of this guy who uses chalk to make pictures with depth and stuff, pretty cool. Colin C
Satoshi Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 what're these stuff?! is that like matrix world?! seems lots of guys are teleportin' to each place in this very elevator!! wow what a creepy pic?!
the sound Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 So, is that like, glass? Why can't Australia have cool elevators or Escalators?
Twister II Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 It's just a painting. http://www.gizmodo.com/gadgets/gadgets/elevator-with-no-floor-go-ahead-step-inside-205177.php
IceDragon Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 i think they should actaully do a glass floor for an elevator, have it on one of the tallest buildings, lol.
pvcoasterguy Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Very cool! It's amazing what illusions can be made simply using art.
FlippyTrick09 Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 *Nerdy voice* Thachs UBER cool... uber...
okinawaboy11 Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 OMG its like that crappy B class movie from like 2001 called THE SHAFT! I never went on an Elevator after that movie.
ECZenith Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Ok, officially the coolest thing I've seen all day.
onewheeled999 Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Oh, for a second I thought that the guy was painted to the wall or something. Then I clicked the link posted earlier and realized what it was supposed to be.
timetrial3141592 Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 The Shaft? I read the imdb on it and it sounds like a Final Destination type of movie (people get killed in gory ways for the audience's amusement).
cobra_roll06 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 that is sooooooooooo kool would probably crap myself if i went in it lol
DarkStitch626 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 i think they should actaully do a glass floor for an elevator, have it on one of the tallest buildings, lol. Yea the glass floor would have to be able 4-6 inches thick I think. Although thats a fantastic idea actually.
niiicolaaah Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 i think they should actaully do a glass floor for an elevator, have it on one of the tallest buildings, lol. At the CN Tower in Toronto they have a glass floor attraction 1,128' in the air. http://www.cntower.ca/portal/SmartDefault.aspx?at=928
FunkyBird Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 At the Sky Tower in Auckland, New Zealand they have some glass panels on the floor of the elevator. They also have some glass that you can walk over and as a way to tempt you to do it they say that the glass is a thick as the concrete you're standing on. Also the person that said" why can't there be any elevators like this in Australia" there just might be in that 95 story building that is being constructed in Melbourne.
