BarryH Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 ^I'm hoping 2008 will bring "The Maryland Jeepers tour."
Carnage Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 I found out about the trips too late What is TPR doing as a US trip in 2008? Â The 2008 US trip is going to be a week long Wichita, Kansas trip.
Hercules Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 ^ That's kind of scary. I was going to post that.
snuggles Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 I found out about the trips too late What is TPR doing as a US trip in 2008? Â The 2008 US trip is going to be a week long Wichita, Kansas trip. That sounds like fun. 3 parks, 7 days, 6 coaster credits.
Hercules Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 It's not about quantity, it's about quality.
downunder Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 I can exclusively reveal that the 2008 tour will go to every park in North America that has a 1st generation Vekoma Boomerang (including 6-8 hours ERT at each park on the said boomerangs), the catchprase for the tour will be: "the lucky ones died first." (I lifted that line from hills have eyes)
thecoasterkid Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 ^^ DUDE! I love boomerangs! Don't know what would be better...an SLC tour or a Boomerang tour. Tough choice...sign me up either way! Â And seriously snuggles, in case you didn't pick it up yet, the 2008 information won't be released until next summer, after the 2007 trips are underway. Looks like you'll have to get some patience.
downunder Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 I think Boomerangs were chosen because there are so many in so many parks, and they get passed around more than a Chino Prison bitch. Like we had one in Sydney and now it's in Alabama, before that, it was in Brisbane.
AJMouse Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 somewhere in 2007: Â Because the Japan trip was such a succes, being adventure style and all, we decided to do another trip the same way! Â The Middle-Eastern trip is going to be what we are calling a TPR "Adventure Tour!" What does that mean? There won't be any main coach or bus, but instead we'll do the trip "Robb & Elissa Style" with bullets, bombs, jeeps, dessert-monorails, a bit of craziness and a LOT of fun! It will be a great exciting way to experience what getting around the Middle-East is really like! Think of it as an "Amazing Race meets Theme Park Review" style of trip. Â Â ==== "Adventure Tour"?? hmmmmmmm - I'd go on a dessert monorail though.
snuggles Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 Does getting shot at count as a thrill ride?
havenli Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 ^It does if you're the one holding the gun. Â Not that I know or anything....
BarryH Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Actually, the 2008 trip will be secretly disguised as a coaster trip, but the bus will really take us to a deserted island and we shall participate in BATTLE ROYALE!
Zen Coaster Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 I'd prefer LOST or TPR SURVIVOR, personally.
Jeezus Juice Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 ^ Nah, I'd much rather have "TPR: Temptation Island" or "When animals attack: TPR edition" Â I'm sure we could have fun with either of those! Â -Don
BarryH Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 If ACErs came along, we could do "The Biggest Loser."
BarryH Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Um, thanks? Â I think I will have to videotape Elissa with TWO cameras in Japan.
thecoasterkid Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Wow...coaster survivor would definitely work! Force a train full of people to ride a Vekoma for as long as possible, last one alive wins! I give the winner about 2 hours tops. Either that, or we just vote people off the bus as we go along forcing them to find their own way to the next park.
Zen Coaster Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Why don't we just do Idol? Â With each round ON A COASTER. Â It's so crazy it might just work.
Nrthwnd Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 There ya go... Â COASTER-VIVOR Â (Uh, thankyew very muuuuch.) Â Â
dubaidave Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 You could combine Both and see who can survive the most rides at Fantazy land.
BarryH Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Wasn't the spinny house the only ride open at Fantazyland?
