BarryH Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Man, you guys are certainly keeping it available and affordable for everybody, I must say!  All trips combined are like 10 000 bucks, excluding flights.  06/29 - 07/07: Spain ($1800) 07/08 - 07/11: Netherlands, Germany ($700) 09/01 - 09/16: Japan ($4000) 09/17 - 09/23: South Korea ($1500) 08/02 - 08/13: USA midwest ($2000)  ...and not including spending money either!
benzo41190 Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Will these trips be the only time you visit some parks? Â Like...going to Cedar Point, or parks on the east coast? Or will all the other trips be more work related trips?
SharkTums Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 At some parks they will bring us to areas where normal guests cannot go in order to get unique photos of some rides.
matteocrepaldi Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Hey Robb, thanks for posting about the mini-trips on http://www.theparks.it!!! Â I won't be able to attend them because they are right in the middle of my exams sessions but they look great!
Dark Vampire Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 Are there still much places open for the mini europe trip? Â I am still trying to arrange something with my parents so I can go with you guys on this trip.
Drop-Out Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 how may spots are left on midwest, if any on tokyo? Thanks.
robbalvey Posted April 25, 2007 Author Posted April 25, 2007 ^ A few left on Mid-West, none for Japan. Â --Robb
Sir Clinksalot Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 If anybody is looking for CHEAP ASS flights to Columbus check out  http://www.skybus.com/  Arriving August 1st and leaving August 13th is only $145 round trip from Burbank.  You'd have to get yourself to the Cleveland Airport, but that's still a cheap flight. Which is why I did the flights getting to Columbus 1 day before the trip and leaving one day after.  I'm not going on the trip, but thought that may help some of you out.
gnewton34 Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 If your talking about the midwest tour, I believe it's starting out at CVG airport, a little bit south of Cincinnati, not in Cleveland, OH.
Sir Clinksalot Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 I meant CVG ... my bad. Â But still good flights.
raptor6 Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Since I live in Ohio and since I can't make the time for the whole Mid-west trip, would it be possible if I could meet you guys at Cedar Point/Geauga Lake?
SharkTums Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Yes, closer to the trip we will post our schedule and you can meet up with us during the day. Â Keep in mind, you will NOT be able to do any of the ERT, group meals, etc.
PKI Jizzman Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 I still plan on meeting up at Kings Island! Â And am also working things out about maybe going on the Mini Euro trip! The trip is on the 8th and my birthday is on the fourth! A perfect birthday present!
thomas2 Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 Is it already determined what the last park of the Mini-Europe trip will be (the park on 7/11)?
Wonka Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 I really want to go to the Mini-Europe trip, but I don't have enough money right now, despite the fact that I can get relatively cheap train tickets to Dusseldorf, considering that I live in Paris
Jive Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 I haven't read the entire thread but my wife and I have been planning a Japan trip for the last couple of months and I was curious about the expected crowds during the TPR trip. We're not a part of the trip but if you've already done the home work we figured we would move our trip from Oct to Sept.

Have you read through our Japan Trip Planning Guide? http://www.themeparkreview.com/japan2004/japanguide1.htm  Granted it's now a few years old, but most of it still applies today. Just don't go to the now closed parks like Nara Dreamland or Festival Gate!  --Robb
Jive Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 Mucho Gracias!!! Â It looks like early September is the way to go. If you all happen to see a really good looking tall American feel free to say hi.
XII Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 Too bad I'm only 15 because I would love to go on a TPR Trip.
