the sound Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 I'm not allowed to come anyway, but... Could you please be a little more specific about the "and More!" part for all of them? I say this because i want to know if your going to that monkey park in Japan! "Go Go Banana Coaster!"
Zen Coaster Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Well, they can't confirm that yet, really, as that's still in the planning... Woohoo. Just paid Japan deposit ... in for all 3 trips now. Looking forward to it all. I'll now return you to my regularly scheduled saving spree
SharkTums Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 ^^Guess you'll just have to wait for the TR's to find out the 'more' part!
DJ Michael Ekylon Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 I sooooooo want to go, especially to Japan. You guys are awesome and you certainly know how to have fun which is why I want to go. I will come to one of your events sometime in the next two years, but now money is scarce
BarryH Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 ^^I'm hoping the "and more" part is a kiss from Robb!
SharkTums Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 I was thinking more the 'and more' part was us all beating down on Barry!
BarryH Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 ^You all did that during the UK trip! Think of something more original.
Hercules Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 I'm sure it was so popular the last time that it is being brought back by popular demand.
coaster05 Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 I am going to say that Barry actually has a great sense of humor since he put up with so much crap on that trip from people who thought it was their right to tease him, because people who actually know him teased him. There were several other people that deserved to be picked on more than Barry, but would never have been able to take it and keep smiling like he did. It is fun to tease and I know I got a couple in on Barry about his camera, but all in all he was a great sport about it.
the sound Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 ^^Guess you'll just have to wait for the TR's to find out the 'more' part! Awwww. Can you just tell me if your going to that Monkey park then?
SharkTums Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 ^What part of my response did you not understand?
Zen Coaster Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 All the more power to him for being good-natured about it.
coaster05 Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 ^What part of my response did you not understand? The part where a 12 year old did not get their way.
Hercules Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 ^^ I guess you would know best since you are around them so often.
coaster05 Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 ^^ I guess you would know best since you are around them so often. My students are more mature then most of the 16 year olds who post on this site. I think it has a lot to do with the life they come from.
BarryH Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 I think if any 12 year old males from Australia come on the Japan trip, then we should tell him to go to "that Monkey park" when we're actually going to USJ. Better part: leave him there to be eaten by rabid monkeys! Oh, I will give you $50 in Monopoly money if you pick on Ryan rather than me.
TexTitan01 Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 ^lol, I have a feeling, on the midwest trip, I'm gonna have to take a few cracks & hazing type ordeals just for being on of the young guns; but I go through it all the time @ school w/ my friends, so I'll just laugh and move on. I'm not the kinda kid that'll throw a tantrum and just walk off to pout somewhere, I'll be happy enough just to be on the trip!
thecoasterkid Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 To get by in this world you've got to have a good sense of humour and be able to make fun of yourself every now and then. People that can laugh the little things off are the ones that allow themselves to make the best of a bad situation.
Hercules Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 ^lol, I have a feeling, on the midwest trip, I'm gonna have to take a few cracks & hazing type ordeals just for being on of the young guns; but I go through it all the time @ school w/ my friends, so I'll just laugh and move on. I'm not the kinda kid that'll throw a tantrum and just walk off to pout somewhere, I'll be happy enough just to be on the trip! You won't get any crap from me. Now, if you act like a tool, then that is another story.
ParkTrips Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 ^lol, I have a feeling, on the midwest trip, I'm gonna have to take a few cracks & hazing type ordeals just for being on of the young guns; No, you're gonna get teased because you wanted college credit out of the trip!
mcjaco Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 ^ Wait, we're not getting college credit for this trip???? WTF???!!!
derwood Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 I got college credit for the UK trip. You just have to fill out the proper forms. d
Carnage Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 Well as much as I wanted to go, I've had to drop out of the Spain trip. Just can't responsibly afford it. Even my best case estimates had me more or less charging the entire trip costs to a credit card. Visa and Mastercard have raped me enough. I'll have to look to 2008.
