c0@ster Posted August 25, 2006 Author Posted August 25, 2006 Mouse In A House Is that a real story?? Rat in a hat
jamesdillaman Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Either "Are You my Mommie?" or "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" Honorable mention to the Cat in the Hat, for destroying a house better than I could ever do. -James Dillaman
USRoadTripper Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 I really love Horton Hatches the Egg...I can recite almost all of it! But my favorite might be Hop on Pop...I called my grandpa Pop, and when I was a kid, he'd read that story to me all the time. Any time I'd jump in his lap, he'd tell me not to hop on Pop or something. I even got him a ceramic Hallmark sculpture of the two little kids hopping on Pop's belly for Christmas one year. He passed away last year, but I'm quite fond of that story because of him. Stories like The Lorax, The Butter Battle Book and the Star-bellied Sneetches teach about very real issues in a fantastic way. I've never read the Dr. Seuss story I haven't loved! Truly one of the greatest authors to ever live, in my opinion. -Julie
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 *wistles* sorry about you grandfather julie.
c0@ster Posted August 25, 2006 Author Posted August 25, 2006 Honorable mention to the Cat in the Hat, for destroying a house better than I could ever do. Don't they fix it in the end?? hmmmm....(scratching my fat chin) .. ... Oh and I'm sorry about your "pop".

c0@ster Posted August 26, 2006 Author Posted August 26, 2006 Yurtle the Turtle is sad. That king turtle would have died... But since it's Dr. Seuss he can't...

Scaparri Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Personally, I'm a fan of the Butter Battle Book.
Hercules Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 You can't mess with One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. That is just plain poetry for the 4 year old brain.
gtaylor Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 Oh, the Places You'll Go! Horton Hears a Who! All classics.
wdworld17nb Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 There's a Wocket In My Pocket Not a Famous book, but I think his best book.
J man Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 I don't really think I can name just one. They are all pretty good. I wrote a rap song about Dr. Seuss. You can listen to it on myspace. The song pretty much covers all of my favorites.
BarryH Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 ^My favorite Dr. Seuss book is "The Lorax." They are all pretty entertaining, though. As a side note, the Dr. Seuss text is nothing without the wonky illustrations!
