  1. FYI San Antonio's Seaworld ski show was also themed to Baywatch back in the day.

  4. Well this is my first Photo TR. For my first one I will be sharing with you my trip down to South Padre Island to visit Schlitterbahn beach water park. I haven't seen anything on this website about the park but it is one of the most original water parks I have ever been too. You start out going up the aquavator, then you flow down a rapids river and whatever ride you wanna get on, you just float over to the line and wait in line in the river, then you load strait onto the ride and after the ride it dumps you strait back into the river. It was a nice short trip, headed out Monday morning, visited the park for a few hours. Went swimming in the Gulf of Mexico, got free beer and wine just for staying at the hotel during happy hour. I work at La Quinta so I was able to get this awesome jacuzzi suite for only $35 bucks for the night! This was my 22nd Birthday and probably the best birthday yet! Well enough of me jabbering, on to the pics. Ask me anything you want about this awesome park. the Entrance the beach bucket slides the beach up we go the aquavator through the trees castle
  5. Im headed out monday to South Padre Island to visit the Schlitterbahn park down there. I havnt seen a Photo TR of this park yet that I can remember so expect lots of pics of the beach and waterpark! Nick"Going to South Padre For my Bday" Hidalgo
  6. There's a Wocket In My Pocket Not a Famous book, but I think his best book.
  7. I worked at Schlitterbahn for two years during high school and there was tons of drama. Not so much that it was a bunch of teenagers working together, but for the fact that we all grew up in the area and went to school together. So the drama from high school would spillover into the summer job and then right back into school so it never really ended. A lot of employees that work there went to school in New Braunfels and then end up going to college in the next town over at Texas State.(Me included). So they grew up together, went to high school together, went to college together and worked together for a few summers, I'm sure they can make some interesting shows out of these groups of people. 8. That looks like a very neat little park. The ride built into the mountain looks like lots of fun. Looks like something that would fit in perfectly in the Gatlinburg area.
  9. http://www.mysanantonio.com/news/metro/stories/MYSA082306.01A.waterpark.347980d.html Here is a better article about the show.
  10. I think the show is going to be more about the shows stars relationships towards each other like real world and less like amazing race where the show is about the challanges the contestants are being put through.
  11. I didnt see anybody mention this new show that MTV is looking to film in my hometown of New Braunfels. http://www.ksat.com/video/9717895/index.html look for the schlitterbahn video in the video index, I could not directly link to the video. It isnt a done deal, in the video they say the producers are looking at a few different parks. Anybody know of other parks that are in the running? This should be a intresting real world/laguna beach type show with a waterpark background, might even be intrested in watching.
  12. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5757589301575990931 A funny mash up of a few viral videos
  13. Well I have been reading the boards for a few months and I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Nick, im almost 22, and im not sure which park to consider my home park. I live in New Braunfels, which should make Schlitterbahn my home park, yet after working there for 2 years I have only been back once. I have a Season pass to Fiesta Texas and go there a few times every summer so that I guess is my home park. Now something none coaster related about myself........ my favorite band is Metallica and I collect everything i can with their logo on it. Just bought me a Master of Puppets barstool last week.
  14. My first post, I thought I would share my desktop. Gotta love the joker
