they took the stereo, both xbox's all of our games, my good studio microphone, but left the jewlery, and my expensive guitars

and they left all the computers except the laptop

That sucks.

When our marching band went to SFGAm on the 11th, all four of our school buses were broken into, even though they were all locked. Main things stolen: iPods, Cell Phones, Money. Luckily, everything will be replaced by the bus company's insurance.

Nothing of mine was stolen, because I hid everything, but a lot of my friends had things stolen.

I just flew out to Virginia for a week. I SWEAR I put my Digital Camera in my luggage, but I can no longer find it. I remember saying to myself "I should pack my camera so I can take pics at home."

I'm not gonna say someone stole it until I get back to Florida and look around my apartment. But I think I may have had it stolen. Ugh.

WOW that sucks. What happened to us was my parents saturn was stolen (some kid had a master key to the cars or something) although next morning the we found it like 3-4 blocks away from my school still sucked though

Sorry to hear that, I had my XBox and most of my games stolen last year. What was really annoying was losing all the game saves since the I had my saves on the hard drive. After I replaced the system and the games I wanted to get again, I picked up a XBox memory card and every month, I copy the saves to the card and leave the card hidden away from the system in case it ever happens again. If you plan to get another XBox and games, I reccomend doing the same thing.

I did have a memory card, but alas it is gone as well

It looks like they took thier time, and took only the electronic stuff, hopefully the police find out who did it, I'm happy I live in Rio Rancho and not Albuquerque, they even dusted for prints, YEAH RRPD

Haven't had my house robbed but I did have my camera/extra lens taken out of my backpack at Disneyland...I've since bought a travel lock for that part of the backpack.

Never a fun thing to have happen (is there a more obvious statement about this subject?) and I hope they catch whoever did it.

Wow, that REALLY sucks! I know how it feels to have things stolen from you, though. My family and I went to Brooklyn for a day, and took our Honda. When our day ended, and we were about to leave, we found our car had been stolen! We searched for a while, and figured it was gone. We searched a parking lot, and found it, one of its license plates gone, most of the parts stripped from it. It sucked hard.

That is horrible! Next time you go one vacation put important things like Consoles, jewelery, etc, in multiple bags depending on the size and hide it. I always do that when I go on vaction. BEst way to keep your sstuff for getting stolen.

^ Considering they could have been robbed on any given day when they were all away from the house, would you suggest they put everything in bags each morning and hide them for the day until they return home?

Sorry to hear about it, crispy. I've had stuff jacked before too, and it's one of the worst feelings in the world, period.

Stop that.

Anyway, we got scammed out of our 72 Chevy truck because my mom was worried that a certain someone was going to come back and take it from her, so she made a plan with hr best freind about signing the truck over to him so that person couldn't take it. This sounded like a good idea until my mom found this "freind" doind drugs in our washroom, and told him to get out. What followed was him getting angry and stealing the truck while I was at school and my mom was at work, but we can't do anything to get it back, because we signed it over to him.

Serious scam.

I feel bad for you though. that must suck. When we go on vacation we usually bring our important stuff to one of my uncles houses to keep it safe.

I really appreciate all the support

My family -in law here in Albuquerque have been really supportive as well, my Subwoofer for my car, which was taken out to pack the car for the trip, has been replaced

I still have my Atari Jaguar, with the Jag CD and all my games, which I may now sell on Ebay to try to get some more $$ to replace our stolen xbox.

Its really nice to see the worst in people, then see how nice people can be.

My car was brocken into when I was away once. Nothing was actualy taken, but they did try to take my CD player.

The CD player fit loosely in the car so I got an l bracket and bolted it down in the back so it doesnt rattle, apparently it is also acts as anti-theft. It was pretty mangled up because the dude tried to pry it out with a screw driver, so I just took it apart and hammered it all back straight.

It always sucks when stuff like that happens, especialy because you just don't expect it.

Its also funny how robbers think whatever they got exposes your personal life or something for their own entertainment.

A robber stole my mom's digital camera, and all it had were pictures of a certain city in Pennsylvania and before/after pictures of a remodel on our kitchen. Nothing with the family in it.

Sucker!

Sometimes I never bring personal items on a trip. A bunch of high-end students from my school went to Europe and within 2 days, a camera was stolen that had something like 140 pictures on it. And a wallet got stolen too, but most of it was spent and in AMERICAN dollars.

Its amazing how theives can go about robbing people without wondering,

"Is what I did good or bad?"

Of course, first instinct is to assume "I am a good person. Everything I do makes people think postitive of me."

In their eyes, its not stealing.

WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW

Ok, so my friend gave his Subwoofer and I got another amp from my brother in law, THANK YOU GUYS YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!

My studio microphone, a Studio Projects C1 condensor mic was taken, I posted about my loss on the Studio Projects forum, AND THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY RESPONDED, here's what he said

Crispy,

I feel for you man, but the good news is...I stole it!

Only kidding... The good news is the new C1 is coming in a couple of weeks. Since you were robbed, I will be happy to do you a special because you were robbed, otherwise I would tell you that you would have to go to the dealer, but getting robbed sucks.... So the least thing we can do is to help you out.

E-mail me at BLANKED@OUT and I will get you a special price on the new C1's with the new look, electronics and the new Halo Shock Mount. If you want an old style, I can arrange that as well.

WOW, just WOW, I cannot believe the kindness of strangers, this has been tough, but man some people are just awesome

If your in the market for a microphone, please buy a studio projects

Thats terrible that you got robbed. I know the feeling.

One day, I woke up to found my roomate didn't lock the doors to my Wrangler, because the radio was stolen! A $300 dollar radio stolen!

But I moved on, that was until the next week. He again, borrowed my Wrangler, and didn't lock the doors. What did they steal this time?

Ooohh, nothing big.. JUST THE DOORS TO THE JEEP! Man, I'm still mad over that. Luckfully, I had half doors for the other top, so I just popped those on.

Ugh, I can't stand those doors on the hard top.

Posted

The doors set me back about $650 bucks. It sucked, but with the half doors and the hard top, it wouldn't close all the way. It was safe to drive, but if it rained, it leaked in like it was no tomorrow. I've never had a breakin to the house though, mainly because my two dogs would just tear them up LOL
