aslinterpreter Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 I saw this video for the first time today. Does anobody know what it is? IT kind of reminds me of the Alpine slides but on rails. Looks like it hurts!coaster wreck
Golfie Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Yeah, that's another type of alpine slide. Obviously there was a problem with someone's mind if they crashed like that. Because on most alpine slides, you have a manual hand brake. Andrew "Alpine Slides rule!" C.
sfmmFREAK Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 LMAO!!!! omg, its so bad that i'm laughing at a bunch of kids that most likely got whiplash, but STILL!
Calvin Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Wheeee! I think I've seen that ride somewhere, like the Swiss alps or something. Didn't Robb and Elissa ride it? Or am I thinking of other people... But yeah, ow.
Wishmaster Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 ^There isn't just one of them. They can be found all over the world by now, even in the US. Here is a link to the builder's website: http://www.wiegandslide.com/alpine-coaster-bobs.html There is also a reference list on it with the location of all their instalations. I rode the one in Fort Fun, Germany last year. It was fun, but I still prefer the regular tobogan slides. About the video: Those girls have got to be complete morons to crash into the other car. These things only need about 4 feet to come to a complete stop.

trustkill22 Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 When those two girls go flying around the corner it sounds like a Rice Rocket or a 2 Stroke dirt bike flying around the corner when they show the slo-mo. And who was wrong on this part, The mom and the kid or the 2 little girls?
viking86 Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Haha those kids werent paying attention at all!
ECZenith Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 I was able to hold back the laughter until they slowed it down...
Angry_Gumball Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 That was actually quite funny..especially when they slowed it down...Anyone able to make out what they were saying though?
Movieguy Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Owwww, geez. They got thrown around as hard as my last trip on SFDL's Predator. By the way, I think I heard that the defunct Black Hole at Alton Towers used to have similar problems with guys getting thrown into each other on the final brake run, so they put up these "Hold tight" signs and such, along the way.
Calaway Park Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 HAHAHA Watch the moms hair when they speed it up backwards. that made me LMFAO
okinawaboy11 Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 At least the little boy had airbags JEFF LMAO! Rofl. You how no clue how hard I was laughing.
KrakenKing Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Hahaha! Good! I don't feel as bad for laughing really hard at that video. The look on all their faces was priceless!
Crazy4Coasters! Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 hey did that girl knock out some of her teeth? at the end of the ride she stops and holds her mouth...
TheMan Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 ^ i think she is just shocked, WOW that mom was going too slow and those kids way too fast, that was very funny though
allisonLOVEsTPR Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 that mom looked mad like .. how could you run into me .. i want to ride that looks fun
Rollerholden Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Am I a bad person for laughing? No? Okay! I hope they don't do that again!
