BarryH
Midwest or Japan...I can't decide! I think a future TPR trip has to be a Pennslyvania tour. Then we can all go to Dutch Wonderland and ride the Lady Gay! Imagine 50 TPR members on that tugboat. Alias, though, the boat will probably have th esame fate as the powered coaster at Coney Beach in the UK.
ride6
I'm interested in the Midwest Trip and more than happy to help with planning as well since I live in the area (midwest) and have maps and such. Even though only about 1/3 of the parks will probably be new to me it's all good since out of my top five favorite rides pretty much all of them area here (then again I'm missing alot of good stuff outside this region, and even in it!). Twister II
Tell me if this is not following the page 12 guidelines. But will parks with water parks be included, or will it be separate admission?
ride6
^My guess is that it depends entirely on the park's policies for water park admission. Those with the water park included in the main admission would obviously be include, those where the water park is seperate (such as Cedar Point and Soak City) it would be up to you to pay if you decided that you must go to the water park. Just my guess... Ride6
thecoasterkid
WOW! Only $1200? That's awesome, to help myself get a rough ball park figure of the cost of the trip I looked around for some flight prices and got $2200 from Toronto to Narita. Has anyone been successful in finding information on flights that actually go on the proper days yet? I was using information from July 2007 flights figuring that would be as close to the accurate price that I could find for the time being. And the comment I made before about not being able to get time off. It was more in regards to getting time off AFTER next year. As in I should be able to get time off to do the Japan trip, but for many years after that it'd be real tough. So, in those years I'll just have to take the shorter trips! thecoasterkid
Okay, since you seem eager to help, see if you can find anything with a 3 day stop over in Los Angeles. I would ultimately like to go down there on the tuesday, and then continue on to Tokyo on the friday. Thanks alot for the help though! I'm trying to do a search on this myself right now too. *edit* after doing a search myself with the qualifications I'm looking for and based off of June 2007 dates (that's the farthest Expedia.ca will go) I ended up with a price of $2000. Not too bad.
SharkTums
When I priced LAX - NRT I found perfect flights for $800. As for waterparks, yeah, we wouldn't include one in the trip, but some parks that have waterparks included you'd be welcome to hit.
chaos
Go ahead and add me to the mailing list. My mom actually is interested in going on the midwest trip, as long as I pay for most of it. I'm going to have to do a lot of babysitting.

dubaidave
I am SO up for the Japan Trip. I have to say to anyone who has not been before it is one of my favorite places I have ever been to. It`s tottally mas, and the thought of doing it with 50 other coaster people just adds to the excitement.

Yah...As a native Houstonian I don't see why anyone would book their Pacific or Atlantic connecting flight out of here. It'd be cheaper and shorter to connect through LA or NY (depending on which direction you're heading). We're only good if you're heading "South of the Border".
