VTown661
Ok i just want to clarify things about fright fest, if i get a regular admission ticket at a bank, would i be let in to fright fest? Long as ticket reads for no blackout dates or expired then ticket should be fine regardless of where you got it. Also buy your maze wristband online at Six Flags web site for $10 regardless of being a season pass holder or not and print out the page and present outside of Flags store inside park for wristband for the mazes. skydye
^ The entire area is going to be closed down after FF is over, so yes, I'd imagine construction will pick up rather quickly after. Are you saying you won't be able to go down the path in front of Mooseburger during construction? That's my understanding. Not sure if the path behind Mooseburger will be open. I'm going to guess ride parts are going to be stored where Flashback was or where they stored the LL:DOD pieces, meaning that entire area will be closed to allow for pieces to move to the site easier. But until it actually happens, who knows. My thoughts have been for the construction on the west side of the hill and the top of the Superman path. I hadn't thought about the front east side of the hill where they removed The log ride. So you bring up a good point. My understand is they are also building a new entertainment area for the front of the park. So what paths will be close is unknown. I did see a unused, blocked off area between the front but before the kids zone. It's not a path yet, but it looks like they could make it into a path to get around the construction area or use it to store pieces.. It already has a excuse our mess sign up. Sir Clinksalot
Since we don't have Hockey, the Stanley Cup will be in SoCal for awhile longer and will be at SFMM Sunday. From their FB page: The Stanley Cup will be at the Thrill Capital of the World this Sunday, October 21, 2012 from noon-3pm. Drop in, go big, and get your photo taken with the championship trophy. CoasterKings908
I'm really interested in knowing what Dr. Fright's Happily Never After was like. Does anybody here have a video of the performance?
scbt
So this is how they keep people interested in the NHL when they season is locked out... they parade around the Stanley cup... I think they just do that even if there isn't a strike... i know the phillies did that throughout most of the 09' season after winning in '
singemfrc
Question for those of you who visit the park frequently..I'm planning on going Sunday (not to see the cup haha) and the forecast is currently showing rain..which rides are the quickest to shut down in the rain, and how much rain does it usually take to cause a closure? I'm guessing SEFK, X2 and Goliath would be the first just based on speed. Currently it looks like its just a chance of scattered showers I just want to be prepared. dylanreich
^ S:EFK will close down with any rain. I'm not sure which rides specifically close with rain, but most rides can stay open if the rain isn't too heavy. X2 and Goliath can actually be run in the rain if it's not too hard, but X2 shuts down with wind, which might come if it starts raining harder. Sir Clinksalot
It's currently showing a 30% chance of rain, shouldn't be a factor (other than Superman). Not sure about LL:DOD in the rain though.

singemfrc
Phew it is going to be a busy day at the park today I think. 10 mins after opening X2 had a 45 min line and it's already up to 120+ now. Hope it's not this busy tomorrow..I'm going to try and get there in time for the traditional run to X2 in the morning to get my rides in, but worst case Ive got a gold fp and ill buy an x2 fp if I really have to I was thinking the other day it would be a cool idea to have a webcam or 2 at the park so we could check on the actual crowd level before heading down, but maybe they don't want to discourage more people to come on already busy days. For some reason I feel like SFMM will announce a HH ride before it opens again for the new season. We keep hearing that SFHH will be getting something in the near future.... singemfrc
Uhh yep. Extremely busy day at the park. If it's anywhere near this busy tomorrow it will be worth every penny for that gold flash pass.

Only day I saw busier than this was that one day in july that was SPH free friend day. Yes that free friend day in July was just sick. ... This app is a joke though and is only as good as the person doing the update. Today the park is crowded... way crowded... very very way crowded. Sunday should be great day with early crowd arrival just wonder if the Stanley Cup being on display in the fountain area will be making people come to the park to try to get a photo with it. And then tomorrow for Freight fest the first 30 min season pass holders have priority for "aftermath" the maze... but doesn't the whole world by now have a season pass? And for this Saturday and next the Express Pass for the maze was $25 but for Saturdays now its $40. Place is packed... great night for people watching. Sir Clinksalot
Aftermath is a TERRIBLE choice for the 30 minute Season Pass maze access. Most of it is outside and it's not going to be dark enough. It probably has the most capacity though so it does make sense from that perspective.
