^^ I have that same video somewhere, and I believe it is called Go For a Ride. I should find it and get it converted to a DVD. Some good POVs of rides on there. It was from the late '80s because that's when I got my copy.

RIP Psyclone, EBL...I have that video, it's called Roller Coaster Thrills. The guy wasn't a janitor, he was like an "ice cream" vendor guy--not that it really matters. Yeah, Flashback isn't on there but it's got some great coasters on there. Too bad whoever cut the video didn't do a very good job of it. Could've been a lot better but exciting nonetheless. Funny how I've ridden a lot of the ones on the video.

^I used to "rent" the video in question from our library when I was a kid, and I definitely know it was "Go For A Ride".

Didn't the guy wake up on Colossus or something at the start?

Ha. I actully still have that video. Its pretty cool. Yeah it was "Here Comes A Roller Coaster". I used to watch it all the time when I was a kid.

BTW Thanks for the pictures. I was wondering when they would take it down.

Oh my gosh! I used to watch that video all the time. I always checked it out at the library. It made me want to go to SFMM so bad. It made Psyclone and Flashback look like the best coasters ever. Back then the most state of the art ride was Batman. Thanks for this trip down memory lane.

The video I was talking about was definately "Go For A Ride." I checked "Here Comes A Rollercoaster" and that's a different one. It has a copyright date of 1994 and the one I mentioned was definately late 80s. This has been amusing, though, it reminded me of the discussion of the mystery song in X's queue. "Oh, it's definately 'Los Angeles' by the band coincidentally named 'X'"..."I think it was the Macarena"...

Dandaman...They must've made a different cover then since the one I have has Loch Ness Monster on the Front & the title of it says "Roller Coaster Thrills" on it. It does say "go for a ride" when it starts but that could also just be a catch phrase. Each time I find it on the internet, it still is labeled as "Roller Coaster Thrills"--OOP (out of print) w/the same cover as mine. I'll hafta dig it out to see what the actual video tape says when it's taken out of the sleeve. That's strange that there would be an entirely different cover for it w/an entirely different title on the front.

^Do libraries in Canaba not rent movies? Mine does! Maybe it's like how in Canada grocery stores, gas stations and drug stores don't sell beer and liquor.

Wait... what? I just said they DO rent movies!

And for the record, I do know a few grocery stores around here that sell alcoholic beverages.

I'm not sure if maybe it could have gone under a different name, but the video is called "Go For A Ride." We even showed it during the Tatsu Media Day Camp Out!

I always thought the ice cream guy looked like a child molester.

Flashback was sort of shoehorned in, so it wouldn't surprise me if they let that spot go to waste. Now there are two places where something needs to be built. I don't think the area where Freefall is located could fit a new Intamin or S&S drop tower. The former Sarajevo Bobsleds/Shockwave/Psyclone & current Deja Vu spot is in the deadest area of the park. It's like a wing of a mall where all the shops have closed. However, I wouldn't mind to see Deja Vu go as well if they put a kick-a$$ coaster there. It would end the "curse" of that spot!
