Password121 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Looks like a nice snappy twist on the green side. Do I smell ...or maybe it was Scream's new paint. Magic Mountain doing something right must be getting to me
DoubleDown Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Can't wait to feel the "outer" forces on that high five element during the green track. Â Totally unlike anything Magic Mountain, or the West Coast mind you, has to offer at this point.
mark549 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 I look forward to the debates about whether green side or blue side is better. Â Green looks like it will be snappier.
Password121 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 That green twist into the "high five" element reminds me a little bit of a scale down, less over-banked version of Outlaw Run's outside banked turn/inversion. The shaping of it is really interesting, perhaps that's one of the airtime moments. It also looks a little like a more-overbanked version of Wicked Cyclone outward airtime hop (granted it hasn't been constructed yet). I wasn't all that excited about TC until these pasts pictures. I might not ever ride this, but it looks pretty freakin awesome. Â I can only hope Six Flags continues business with RMC at such a pace. These coasters won't fix the SF chain, but they're putting some of their (excl. Magic Mountain) parks on the map.
RAWKIN_coaster38 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 If I was running SFMM, I'd buy a $20 plant from Home Depot and place it under Scream just to mess with enthusiasts. Better than nothing!
drummermattk Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Its coming along! Boy i sure do wish it was as warm as it is in cali right now. Ohio is FREEZING! photo creds to the park
BoulderDash Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 That green side almost looks like it will be painful on the high five, hopefully not haha. Â Looking really good. I wonder which will be done first, WiCy or Colossus. Probably will be very close.

rcjp Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 ^It does look like it might be a violent twist
ioio Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 ^It does look like it might be a violent twist  I don't understand what the problem is?
Mater Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Weren't people saying the same thing two years ago about Iron Rattler's reverse banked hill on top of the quarry? Â We're probably gonna be riding through the high-five a lot faster, but I'm sure it'll still ride fine. Probably a serious pop of air there too.
rcjp Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 ^Yeah I'm sure it'll be fine. Just because I say it's aggressive I didn't mean painful (I assumed it would be a good thing, I mean, everything about rides like skyrush is aggressive)
MagnumFreak25 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 That looks like the best part of the ride to me.
Mater Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 I have a funny feeling the blue hill/green double down coming off the High-fives is going to end up being the best parts of the ride. Â Or maybe the last blue hill before the pre-green lift brakes.
SingleRiderCam Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 ^ I have to agree with you on that final blue hill before the transfer to the green side. That looks like it would produce some serious airtime. Â On the topic of the high-five element, it doesn't look like it would be that violent compared to the other false predictions of other rides in the past. Remember when many people were afraid of the transitions on Lightning Run to be painful? Well that prediction didn't turn out to be true of what I have heard of.
Superbatboy Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 The hill right before the hi-five looks like it will have major air too.
ioio Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 ^It's not  i was being facetious Just uber excited for that element!

The double-down on the green track, the stall, and the blue track outer bank seems like great great moments! let alone the drops, and the hills leading into the high-fives. I wish the blue-side bank on the high-five was more than 90 degrees, but that is nitpicking
