^ "Sellout" wasn't even needed.

I'd like to nominate ANY reality TV "star." I'd like to put a certain emphasis on any reality "star" spawned from MTV.

^ But it was captured on film though, and that should make many people happy in a sick way. Scott "and yes, losing bets does suck" B.

Le nice job. Candy in the restroom? Hmmm...oh that's right, it's Canada. Scott "trims= " B.

^^ Skydivers are pretty insane. We always had one at our yearly carnival all the way through grade school. I can't ever remember anyone being able to ride solo. I believe they required a second rider to act as "padding" to compensate for what little there is in those cars.

Wait, this show's still on?

So basically, what you're saying is that this is definitely an AquaTrax....or not, right? -
^ Excellent post. Thank you for that. The answer.... Here here Eric!!! Yes and that is why I was shocked too! If anything, I'd say it's just the opposite of that. If there's any shock associated with this this story, it comes from the manner of death, and not the fact that he died on the job.

Disney has done a random prize giveaway promtion in the past which was very successful. In October of 1986, Walt Disney World was celebrating it's 15th anniversary by randomly giving away prizes every 15 seconds. Yes, every 15 seconds!! For the life of me, I can't recall what the prize structure was, or even the overall grand prize, but I know that every guest who walked through the turnstiles would receive a ticket which told you if you had won or not. Every 15 seconds, someone in line was bound to receive a prize. I remember winning several collectible pins, and then being able to wear an "I'm A Winner" sticker around all day. I don't see why this same system coudn't achieve the same success with different prizes. It sounds like a great promotion to me. Or the sad and pathetic version of the ticket:

I, for one, did damn well read about it, and I damn well do still stand behind everything I said. I don't care whether it was a 15 foot croc, a two foot stingray, or he slipped and fell into a lion pit. The simple fact remains, "freak" accident or not, he assumed the risk before he even put on his dive gear. An accident is an accident no matter which way you slice it......and he FULLY understood this, or he would not have been doing what he did. I'm sure his wife isn't making excuses. Despite his onscreen persona, he was a very intelligent and educated man. I'm sure he also had fun with the image he created, and was willing to laugh about it, as we are here. You guys trying to defend him to the death need to simmer down a bit. We poke some fun, but yet, none of this is mailcious in any way. It'd be a completely different story if the guy went around bragging about how he defied death, now wouldn't it? Scott "I still don't understand how this comes as a shock to anyone" B.

^ I think someone may have a few pages back. It certainly resembles and aquatrax-like vehicle to me. -
This guy's act got played out real quick, but nonetheless, he really was a great guy with a big heart, and a true love for animals. Although I got bored of his show after about '98 (?), I still continued to admire his work in an effort to educate. Now, with that said, I have to agree with what Joe already mentioned. Someone please explain to me how any of you can consider this a shock. Would you be shocked if a skydiver's chute didn't open? Would you be shocked if a bullfighter was gored to death? Probably no for both of those, right? So considering the man made contact with animals that were meant to be left alone by humans, is it really a surprise that his luck ran out? Although sad, serious injury or death was inevitable at some point in this man's career. Scott "when you play with fire, you get burned" B.

The rest of the world also thinks soccer is exciting. I'll gladly take a 5 minute major penalty to prove you wrong. Ever felt my CCM across your forearm?

New Universal Orlando Rumor...

Cirque, and now possibly BMG? What's next, Barry Manilow, then Elton John, and finally hordes of low paid workers passing out hooker cards on the streets of Citiwalk? Scott "please leave Vegas in Vegas, thanks" B. -

^ It's a trick. By saying "most of" they're really eluding to the least of something. It's the most they're ever avoided using an excesive amount of concrete to "theme" an area. -

Why am I not so willing to believe RumorScape? If indeed, CP is intending this aquatrax to be "themed" towards the "old west" as was suggested by the clever signage ("hold onto your spurs," etc.), then they really are going a "different direction," since I don't remember the old west looking so lush and tropical. -

So what they're saying is that it's an aquatrax, right?
