Small update today, I have finished 3 new buildings and have started working on a new water slide. It's one of those toilet bowl type slides. At the moment I have ride built where and how I want it (track only that is). It is of course error trapping me to death. When or should I say if I can work the bugs out I should be able to theme it and the surround area very quickly. Thanks for your support! The back side of the tram building. Half of the building is in the park and other half is not. Bad border planning on my park but it worked out. Many updates ago you saw the building that houses the 2 trams and chairlift in the park. The tram that travels the western side of the park end here. Just another view of the same building. This is another restaurant. It is in the far corner of the park behind the second flow-rider. Thank you everyone for the positive feedback on the surf ride. Same building different angle. Same area as before but finished up. You can see new slides starting point in the right corner. The building is a restaurant with a patio looking out onto the water and giant pirate ship. Been doing a bit of landscaping outside the park. Once I get the toilet bowl ride done, 1/2 of the park will be complete. This is what I am working on at the moment.

It is so hit and miss... Around the carousel looks great, the water coming out of the cannons is unique. The ferris wheel has nothing, Infinite Insanity (think the name is fine for the ride) has a really dank looking station and bad florals out front, then you get to the lift it has GREAT non custom scenery all the way up. WELL DONE if I might say. But once you leave the drop nothing but grass. For the most part the areas that have scenery look very well put together and then just a few squares away you have either no scenery or what seems like scenery items just tossed in. I could understand it if there was nothing but empty space but that isn't the case. These dead spots are surrounded by rides and attractions. I really don't know what to say to help you other than just keep going but take your time. Focus on area and make the most of it with what you have, them move on to the next. As for the picture order, when you upload them put the first one you want everyone to see in first and the last in last. If you check your post in the preview they will still be in that order and will look like they are all going to be in the wrong order, once you hit submit they will swap places. The first picture that was on the bottom is now on top.

The scenery in places looks great but others not so much, also looks like your having some angry guest issues. Broken lamps and benches are in quite a few pictures. You need to find out what is causing the vandalism around the park and try to come to the happy place where you and your guests are both content with the park. Looking forward to seeing what you have blacked out in several of the pictures in future updates.

Loved the grainy, jumpy black and white footage in the beginning of the video. That was the only park I liked. Just kidding, looks like a real fun ride. So looking forward to the first time I get to ride a coaster that has one of those over the top loops. They just look so disorienting. -

I can't really say why without seeing it in person, check and make sure the paths are REALLY connected. They may look like they are but (depending on the path type) they may not be. If this is the case the guests will be able to get in but not out. Kind of like when you have a path that gets disconnected from a ride entrance but the entrance sign stays up at the end of the path like nothing is wrong or when a path gets disconnected from a ride exit the guests can get off the ride but the mechanic can not get in to fix it. If you can't get it working be happy to try and figure it out. deltzroth@woh.rr.com -
Today is the unveiling of FlowRider/surfing type ride for Pirate Bay called Stone Surfer. The plan is to have this one and across from it a larger one with a much steeper incline. In the pictures you can see the edges of the footprint for the other one. Had a lot of trouble with this one, there is just no way to make a rider move the way they would on a real surf ride or if there is I can't figure it out. What I came up with I am about 50% happy with. I really want your opinions on this. PLEASE look at the pictures and watch the video and give me your ideas and thoughts about it. Your comments can only help! I may not keep it in the park or bother building the other one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuGlaNXOok0

Since you don't have any rides in the park you can do this two ways, if you are totally happy with all your selections simply hit the tool box icon on the RCT home screen and select "Convert Saved Game to Scenario". Change the setting in the scenario to whatever you want and save it as a new scenario. or Go the the toolbox and enter the "Scenario Editor" and put your saved game back into the editor. Hit the disc icon and select "Load Landscape". In the pull down tab at top it should say "Landscapes", click on pull down arrow and select "RCT2" and then "Saved Games" and pick the one you want. Make any changes you want to make in rides, scenery or whatever and the save it as a new scenario. -

Sent the park back to you this evening, so give your email a look. I fixed 1 of the 3 problems. The other 2 you will have to fix yourself, they involve too many attractions and senery items selected. I almost asked if you some how managed to go over the limits, but since I have only been able to do it once I figured that wouldn't be one of the problems but ironically it ended up being 2 of them. If you can't it getting working after you fix those other 2 issues send it back and I will try again. -

Nope that shouldn't hurt anything, you only need 1 item in each. Since that in not the problem I'm going to have ask you to send me the park so I can look around and see if I can find the problem. I'll need the scenario that will not open and the last version you used in the editor before the Error Tapper happened when it was converted to the scenario. Be sure to check mark export plugins in the options menu before saving and sending. deltzroth@woh.rr.com -

Is it an "Error Trapper" error? If so, can you still open it in the editor? Did you remove all the objects out one of the 6 non removable scenery tabs?, example: taking out all the flowers and the clock from the gardens tab leaving it totally empty. -

Unfortunately it is not possible to get more attractions than the game allows. However it is possible to swap out attractions that you are not going to use for one's you want using the ParkDat utility. The 7th post down on page 9 has information and a download for the ParkDat. -
Had typed out a large response to ^^^ but I really don't think this is the topic to have argument about car and cigarette companies and how much they do or don't care about you, me, anyone or anything and about the whole second hand smoke bull crap spread by the anti smoking Nazis. How inconsiderate NON-SMOKERS are to smokers or the other way around as you put it in your comments. Topic: SMOKERS who do there smoking while in line should be reported, line jumpers should be shot on site, and if your going to pay $12 for a burger and fries, it should at least be warm.

I'm not sure but I think some of the coasters I have in the game menu came from both expansion packs, but I don't plan on using them so chances are when the park is released they will be removed using the ParkDat tool. So unless some of the senery that I am using is from an expansion pack and I don't think it is, when the time of release is here there should only be RCT2 objects and rides. But no promises.

After trying the search button looking up "water coasters" and having over 1400 results I am going to go ahead and just ask. What makes a water coaster a water coaster and a log flume a log flume? The reason I am asking is my confusion as to why some are considered what they are. Rode Journey to Atlantis at Sea World in Florida, its a water coaster, rode Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls at IOA and it ended up a water coaster, rode Daredevil Falls at Dollywood and it somehow is a log flume. All three have 2 across seating, wheels w/up-stops and chain lifts. What makes the one at Dollywood a flume ride and the others water coasters? To me a flume ride uses a conveyor to lift the ride vehicles and a coaster uses a chain. Flume rides only roll on wheels when they bottom out, hit the sides and for the drop. At the top of the lift on Daredevil Falls at Dollywood there wasn't even water just track and it rolled on that track all the way around and down the drop till it hit water and floated again. So if anyone can explain what's what and why. Much appreciated.

Have to agree with most of what I have read in this thread, line jumpers, over priced food (usually bad food at that), not being able to re-ride when no one else is in line (that was the only thing that made me angry at Dollywood last month), assigned seating and crappy operations. Are there really parks that still allow smoking while in line? off topic rant...not intended to be confrontation with you individually sixflagsguy but at everyone who mentioned smoking all the way back to posts from 2005. Don't really get the problem people have with smokers at theme parks. Your outside! If you have a problem with smokers OUTSIDE in the so called fresh air you should really have a problem with the car ride to the park. The crap coming out of the tailpipe in front of you is much worse for your health than any amount of time near a smoker. Fun activity for all to try. step 1, find a garage. step 2, enter garage and shut door. step 3, light an entire pack of cigarettes. step 4, wait for it to kill you. step 5, since it didn't kill you continue to step 6. step 6, start the car that is in the garage. step 7, fall on floor DEAD. Now which of the two, cigarette smoke or car exhaust is worse for your health. Don't give me that crap about well we NEED cars, people got around just fine for 1000's of years without them. No, I am not giving up my car and no I DON'T smoke and I don't think anyone should have to be in any kind of enclosed area with someone who does. Complaining about someone smoking OUTSIDE because it will somehow affect your health just seems odd to me. There are much worse things your breathing in beside someones smoke, but that's OK, since you can't smell it or see it, it must not really be there or be bad for you in anyway. RIGHT?

I like the coaster but there has to be something in all those NE building pieces that can give a better look than using wooden coaster track. -

The beginning of the coaster looks very chunky to me. I think if you used the same kind of turn or something similar to what you used to get on the chain when the coaster is leaving the station it would flow a lot better. Liking the all the white wood, but hope it stops here. -
Its been awhile again, sorry. Been doing some home improvement projects. I have managed to get an entire area of the park 99% done. With the slide your about to see being the center of it all. It's called Jungle Escape. I also increased the Lazy Rivers capacity by 78 making a total of 234 tubes. It just didn't look full enough to me. Now it is much more crowded. The slides fill in the area between the first and second slides that were put in the park. Jungle Escape is set to the same jungle theme as the section of Drifters Cove in the last update. It is a duel racing body speed slide with it's starting station located near the island you saw in the lazy river video and pictures. The end station is in the back of the park. These two slides are your fastest way to escape the natives protecting their gold and boy are they FAST with tunnel turns and s-bends all the way to the finish. You start high in the trees inside the natives jungle vine covered temple. Slowly you slide out around a large turn till your facing back where you started and then you fall at very steep angle back through the temple plunging into darkness. When you reach the light you are now below the tree tops zipping through the forest at tremendous speed hitting one s-bend after another dipping slightly between each one till you arrive safely away from the natives at one of the local pirate hangouts. The front side of the building. I know it seems strange to have water slide end inside a building but I wanted it to have destination and not just end in the jungle. The slide ends inside this building. Front of the same building. The back of the starting station. An over shot of the entire ride.

Your looking for the RCT1 4cars trainer? Are you sure you wouldn't rather have The Beast or TRG? Anyway, make sure you have the Drexler patch installed or your game will crash. Attached is the only version of the RCT1 4cars trainer that I am aware of. 4cars.zip RCT1 - 4cars trainer -

... Pilgrim's Plunge was the first misstep they've taken. ...the park was well-worth visiting before The Voyage came along. I agree with everything quoted, just don't think before Voyage the park was worth a re-visit more that once every few years. Free soda and smiles only get you so far.
