I was in a club last night and they had it on TV in the background. I saw that the UK came a valiant "almost last". I guess this counts as an improvement really...

All bar two from Stdium arcadium. Try listening to the older stuff as it's a lot better (also Readymade off stadium arcaduim is rather good ) And on the customisation front, i'm after a colorware iPhone, but i have to get over the "you can only do it in the states" hurdle.

Brian May (guitarist for Queen) went to my school and he came back a couple of years ago (they were asking him for money) and I "jammed" with him for a little bit, that was pretty fun! -
Hi, here is a list of the Alton Towers Fastrack tickets available: Fastrack Thrill One Fastrack entry on Air, Nemesis, Oblivion and The Flume! Fastrack Thrill + Rita One Fastrack entry on Air, Nemesis, Oblivion, The Flume and Rita! Fastrack Adventurer One Fastrack entry on Charlie & The Chocolate Factory: The Ride, Corkscrew & The Runaway Mine Train. Fastrack Ultimate One Fastrack ride on: Air, Nemesis, Rita, Ripsaw, Duel, Rapids, Hex, Spinball, Runaway Mine Train, Oblivion, Corkscrew, The Flume, Enterprise, Submission, Squirrel Nutty, Charlie, Battle Galleons, Heave Ho & Marauders Mayhem. As far as essential rides go, you should aim to get on the following: Nemesis Oblivion Spinball Whizzer Air RITA Hex That is a fairly selective list, but if you have limited time make sure you get on those. As far as Fastrack goes, if you get the "Thrill + RITA" option, 4 of the 6 I listed are there which means you'll have a lot of time to do the water rides and mutiny bay etc. I don't know how much the fastrack tickets cost, but if Thorpe Park is anything to go by, it won't be cheap! If you only have limitied time though, it's definately worth it:) Hope that helps Dave

Isn't Talcocan at Phantasialand a giant topspin (floorless)? And i could be completely out of the loop here but weren't HUSS is severe financial trouble recently? So comanys probably wouldn't want to invest in their products...

Hopefully this will be a good season for McLaren, from what i hear the car is a lot better than last season and they didn't do to badly then Any predictions for the drivers/constructors champions? I'm being the optimistic brit and backing Hamilton to win on his second season! At least it's not as optimistic as backing Coulthard (who i supported through my childhood because we shared the same first name ). Dave "yay for F1 thread" Wilson

Thorpe Park Discussion Thread

A Flyer pushes the boundaries with a unique flying position, but equally a eurofighter pushes the boundaries with a 97 degree drop, so i don't see how a flyer pushes the boundaries any more than a eurofighter. Don't get me wrong, id love to see a flyer at Thorpe, but i think a eurofighter would be an equally good addition. -

It's pretty painful and unless you frequently do yoga, you probably won't be able to get into the train in the first place. Anything else? -

Given that it's created from the planning applications, which consist of projections of the skyline (because that's all the planners care about) it's pretty good, and very accurate. -

Nope, plans are in. They just need permission from the council, and seeing as they've allowed much bigger projects than this before, it shouldn't be too hard to get permission. No hurry though, it'll open early '09 and eurofighters go up pretty quickly, Rage at adventure island was up in about 3 weeks, and that spongebob one is coming alomng quickly too. We're just at that "we have to wait for the crappy council to make up their minds" stage.
