  1. I love how the safety bar is engulfed by Robb, this happened with me also
  2. I think you answered your own question there. Shame really as i'd like to see some B&M ejector air!
  3. She passed it a long time ago
  4. Great pic there Hector That plane was great when Lou thought the window was opening on it's own And i don't remember stealing the hat, but my eye is in tact so she must have got it back pretty quickly...
  5. I ate there with my family on christmas day in '05 when i was 16 and i really liked it, but i know had it been a few years earlier i wouldn't have wanted most of what was on the menu. It's pretty much common sense not to take young kids to a restaurant like that, they wouldn't enjoy it at all. Good move Disney.
  6. Great stuff Hector, the bar pics are great! The port aventura bar nights were possibly the best part of the trip for me Loving the whole TR too...
  7. Chris, what the hell do you mean by "tickling"?
  8. At least with the flash game I wont shoot the numbers...
  9. Afterburners are pretty cool, I can't remember if they're something different in the states though...
  10. Where are the coaster shots Lou?! Great stuff, reminds me how awesome the trip was... "Total Pimp" Dave "Jolly Jolly Jolly time for high tea at threee quarters to half eleven" Wilson
  11. Thorpe Park is my local, and is certainly not my favourite. I don't know what is (probably IoA), but it really isn't chavland.
  12. ^ Nope, it's going slow. Look at the motion relative to the track...
  13. Can't say im surprised, but it looks just as tame as the model suggested. Of course I could be prooved completely wrong, but this has the sprawing elements and wide helixes associated with weak B&M's. It's not the size of the elements that looks wrong, but the speed the train is going through them. Obviously when there's a full train of ACE members it may be a bit faster round the circuit, but it just looks too slow through the elements (especailly the zero-G). Proove me wrong B&M!
  14. I just wanna put another thanks in about Ted's awesome "do it for you" thing. I probably wouldn't have voted if i didn't have that to pretty much do it for me Cheers!
  15. Going back in time to the first page... Have you ever heard of Blackpool Pleasure Beach? They have 5 woodies next to the sea, dating back decades and it rains hard in the winter and (as proved by the TPR trip) it can get pretty hot during the summer too. Location has little to do with it really, blame a crappy company...
  16. Wow awesome video man! I really like the way the music changes There was some pretty cool camera work in there too
  17. That's very interesting, i had a feeling the UK would come out on top because we have a lot of smaller parks (pretty much none of which i've been to). I think it's important to remember that the US parks are a lot bigger with higher capacitys and arguably a lot better (Having been to virtually no US parks I can't really comment, but i'm sure some people will have an opinion). But that's very interesting, thanks for posting
  18. This looks allright at the moment. I just want to see what it'll turn out like after the budget cuts...
  19. At least Big Mike's promoting someone else rather than himself Yeah the Alveys are some crazy nutters* *we don't actually use the word nutters in the UK.
  20. Justin, that's such a good picture of Eric Yeah, the people on the trip weren't important, Just R&E's friends. I think you mis interpreted the update, the idea is to give you a feel for the parks and the atmosphere. not brag about the fact that they were there. And on that note, great update guys I have to get out to Orlando next year!
  21. Friction is proportional to the gravitational pull, so friction would also be a sixth. Coasters would work on the moon but go slower, simple...
  22. Sorry to stoop to the level of having an argument about physics on a forum, but why? The gravitational field is less, but it exists. The coaster would work but acceleration due to gravity would be less. And there goes the last piece of my online pride...
  23. They would look exactly the same, just go slower.
  24. Tommi, we had one big rain storm when we were driving back from Tampa, and it rained a little when we were leaving sea world, but apart from that it was all fine
