We're still pegging around £1.25/litre. It's expensive compared to the US but the taxes have been frozen on it of a while now so it's actually a nice surprise seeing the prices stop their constant creep upwards right now!

Is this a common arrangement in the industry? I'm not aware of any other parks operated by dedicated management companies separate from the owners? Quite an interesting concept but it seems to be working at a lot of these properties.

Nice! Between this, new parks and improvements at other existing parks Italy is really putting itself on the european theme park map! I can't wait to see this all completed.

This park looks sooooo different from when I went last in 08, I'll have to get there and experience the new stuff next time I'm on the east coast! Also Chuck, at the risk of being cast into the gutter of former friends I do believe I've eaten at Ruby Tuesday in Manhattan. Not my choice though, family holiday!

I saw the Babadook at the weekend and was quite impressed! It was more psychological than I was expecting, a very gripping second half. Seeing Interstellar later in the week, some reviews have been more tempered than I was expecting so I'm not setting the bar crazily high but hopefully it'll be a solid Nolan film.

I Am a River - Foo Fighters. Just finished the new album (Sonic Highways), great follow up to Wasting Light. Very much going down the same fantastic path cementing them as possibly the best rock band of their generation. I can't wait to listen to it through a few more times.

So much of the park experience is about having fun with friends that I don't think it'd be worth me visiting a park alone. They'd have to have something amazing to entice me!!

I wouldn't say son of beast was a fad, it was the first of a genre that's since become very good with the rise of RMC. I don't think stand ups are a failed concept, from an enthusiasts point of view maybe, but they seem popular enough with the GP which is what the business is all about.

If I can hide somewhere near the back of the train I'll ride, but not near the front, just not worth it!

No more on the cards this season so whatever opens 2015 for me at this point!

I don't think you can give rides a pass like that though. There shouldn't be unridable or incredibly uncomfortable seats on the train. There are a few coasters I can think of with really bad seats and I'm not sure you can mitigate it by just saying "wait for a better seat".
