  1. I guess they just want to hit every price point of the market.
  2. ^^ Ha! Yeah the whole pumpkin spice thing has taken off recently. A friend of mine just imported some pumpkin spice Oreos! I had a bourbon flavoured beer recently. Maybe a little "fake" tasting but interesting nonetheless!
  3. ^ yeah I'm not a massive fan of drop towers so I think the trapdoor slides would get me!!
  4. What are people's thoughts on the new iPads? Any takers? I think it's impressive when you look back on the original iPad how far they have come, I still don't have a tablet but I'm sure I'll be giving in eventually!
  5. That'll be Thorpe Park! No idea how many times I've been but I had an Annual Pass for most of my teenage years so I imagine I've been over 100 times.
  6. Summit Plummet scared the crap out of me when I was a kid! I loved it once I'd ridden, but I was terrified at the top!
  7. ^ that's a good point. These smaller European parks probably don't have quite as much of an iron grip on overheads and stuff as well so they might not be as put off by it.
  8. Wow, there's some pretty impressive showmanship there!!
  9. Yeah I was really surprised by that in a good way. I don't really even think of it as a coaster but a really cool interactive dark ride. Obviously it's not Toy Story Mania but it's damn good fun and a few more attractions like that wouldn't put the park on a particularly bad footing in my view.
  10. Tonnerre de Zeus. By all accounts this used to be an absolutely stunning ride but it screeches round the track now and is no fun after the first hill. So the base material is there, it just needs bringing out so they'd probably get a kick asks ride out of it!
  11. ^^ To be a theme park, absolutely not (pretty much every Disney and Universal park attest to this) but for an amusement park the lines are a little more blurred. You certainly need a lot of higher octane rides but I think most people would still side with quality over quantity. It also seems on the surface that the lines are blurring more with parks like Europa and more recently some of the big US parks putting more of an emphasis on landscaping and stuff and making the park about more than just the sheer number of rides
  12. I wanna say i305 but I'd probably go with Ragin' Spirits so I can be at TDS
  13. That's cool, definitely plan to come back and some point and soak up even more of the place!
  14. Ha! I love it, so much Japan nostalgia going on right now. How much longer are you and your brother out there for?
  15. I had no idea these things existed until a couple of weeks ago when I went to Nigloland and I loved it! Interesting to hear that some people struggle to get them spinning, I just did what I thought would work and ha a great ride, I guess I've ridden flyers and stuff though so others might not figure it out as quickly. So the release says "in the shadow of the big one", is that the bling location then or something?
  16. It looks like you had a great time despite only being there for a few hours. It looks like you're making the most of Japan as well, I'm very jealous!!
  17. Nice! Looks like some first class crap there! Jealous of those of you that got Hong Kong Disney maps!!
  18. Wow, this looks like a great expansion! The one time I've been I loved the place and it was really busy so I think this will go down well
  19. The raclette was seriously good!! I was really surprised by this place, I think it's a great family park and it was so well presented. I'd be interested to look into the history a bit and see if they were purchased at some point or something because it seems they have a really good vision for the place!
  20. ^ Ive never tried a pumpkin beer, Ill have to keep an eye out and try one before the season ends!
  21. Just for a normal drink I like coke zero. Regular coke tastes really syrup-y to me now and I'm not a huge fan which I guess is a good thing! Occasionally I'll fall in love with Dr Pepper or orange fanta as well. We're getting a few more coke freestyle machines in the UK now so I can experiment a bit more often which is cool.
  22. I had a 99 Ford Fiesta and I loved it! Great little gearbox I prefer my current car but I have fond memories of the Ford!
