Some age like fine wine, some putrefy like roadkill on a warm summers day. -

The building was gutted too [emoji6] From what I understand it won't be an omnimover, I'm prepared to be proved wrong though! -

Which is the park that has the potato patch fries? I never tried them when I visited but I'll need to next time! Was it Kennywood? -

It certainly doesn't fit in with the parks market any more but it's one of the last vestiges of the park that I grew up with so on a personal level it'll be sad to see it go. Onwards and upwards though, this is a big investment for the park and I can't wait to see how it goes. -

It'd be so nice to see a decent dark ride cone in, WWH probably wasn't the greatest ride and I might be looking back with rose tinted glasses, but it's an area that the park has been lacking in for 15 years so I'm excited to see what they can do. -

How do you watch full-length videos/movies?
TPDave replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
1) Streaming 2) Netflix then Amazon prime 3) Probably one 4) I use an Apple TV - pretty much exclusively used for AirPlay of video or audio 5) Probably more than everything else combined! -
^ At least it was free, I paid for my last Stella! This might be blasphemy to the beer fans in here but I quite like Stella, it's probably my favourite mainstream lager.

I just checked and the release is the 30th Jan in the UK, looks like I'm going to be waiting a long time for my Disney fix!

Ha! THIS!! It's a shame to hear that even the new ones are still pretty bad, I guess when you're in that position you feel every bump no matter how new the ride! -

A bit of an odd one but the Wild Mouse at Nigloland was the smoothest, most comfortable one I've ever been on! I didn't need to hold on or brace at all (which for a big guy is normally mandatory on those things!) -

^ Agreed. These trains look a little odd but as long as they work that's all that matters! Hopefully there have been many lessons learnt here and there will be a future for this coaster type, I'm not holding my breath after all the publicity in the industry surrounding this though. -
^ Aah, fair enough - I haven't been following the parks too closely, maybe I've just been believing the hype Back when Tussauds was a thing it was owned by Blackstone and then the Dubai investment fund before being sold to Merlin and there was never a management company involved. I guess the existing structure was just maintained for the years it was owned by the investment people.
