What is the gap at the end of the track on Goliath at La Ronde for?

It is most likely a combination of all the things mentioned already in the thread. I think one of the biggest factors is who owns it. No matter when, how or who built it, if the owner of it doesn't take proper care of the ride it will turn to crap.

Had some friends over for the Carolina vs Montreal hockey game last night... First up was Sleemans Fine Porter. This one better be good, we bought a 12 pack for the 1st big BBQ of the year this weekend. Sounds good. Looks good, smells good, tastes good. It isn't the best beer I've had, but it was enjoyable. Uh oh. I wasn't quite expecting it to be that light. 20 minutes later. Wow. I think this is one of the worst tasting (and smelling..) beers I've had in a long, long time! I really enjoyed the Faxe Amber and the Faxe Festbock, but this one was just bad. Now its time for some Hacker-Pschorr Hefe Weisse. Mmm, very tasty. Definatly the best one we had all night.

The more reports and pictures I see of SFEG, the less sad I feel about not being able to visit the park when I stayed in Denver last year.

Probably one of a few. What don't you like about it, from what you can gather from pictures and video?

I do have Windows Media Player 10. The video page that you linked to works fine, but only the sites logo plays and then it does nothing, no matter how long I wait. I did however get this one to work. The ride looks like alot fun. Nice mix of airtime and positive g's.

Hm, still can't view any of these video for some reason.

Is there some sort of trickery needed to get the video to work? It won't load for me.

I downloaded the movie, but I keep getting this message when I try to view it; "The movie file 'HD Intro' cannot be found. Without this file, the movie cannot play properly."
