  1. ^&^^ The fact that both of you have the same avatar made me really confused for a second! Also, congrats Davisal!
  2. Yeah, Google. "Den" is the dative masculine singular definite article in German... You keep thinking that. Vekoma "For those who don't know, it's accusative masculine singular or dative plural: "Ich habe den Bleistift." or "Sie sind auf den Häuser." " Fan Boy
  3. Fail. Yes, I meant verboten. These kinds of things happen to me frequently in my German class. EDIT: Fixed it.
  4. This is what I would bet on. For those who don't know, "Verboten" is a German word meaning "to forbid" or "forbidden"
  5. Just got my TAKS scores back. I failed the English test. Why? I got 1's on ALL of my free response questions. Why? Because I wrote too complex of an answer for the grader to understand. I SOOO did not take my AP English teacher seriously when she warned us that AP Students frequently do this.
  6. Going over Niagara Falls without a barrel. What's worse than being a part of the human centipede?
  7. ^Eh, the animated gruesomeness didn't really bother me. I actually quite liked the movie now that I've finished it. Once the entire plot is tied up all of the rather subtle WWII references slap you in the face. Also as the movie unfolds you can see that it isn't a movie just made to be shocking, it is actually pretty thought provoking.
  8. Is it bad that as I'm watching the first part I'm actually somewhat enjoying it? The animation reminds me of movies from the mid to late 90's, but with a plot that's obviously not as childish...
  9. Seems too gimmicky for me. Like Joey Jordison's sideways spinning drum set. It's cool, but really pointless. On a side note: I would hate to be the guy in charge of setting that up and taking it down.
  10. ^If you really want to get good I would recommend also registering on www.nolimits-exchange.com. You'll get more of "do "x" and play with that till you figure it out" kind of advice, but they are still a nice community and very willing to help. A lot of TPR's NL users are there as well.
  11. ^Newton 2 isn't really an add on for No Limits. It's a tool, and a completely separate program. What it does is it allows you to shape the track path of a ride using forces defined by you, while giving you a real time display of what you are doing to the track. Once you are done with the track in Newton2, you export the whole track as a .nlelem (No Limits Element) file, which you can then paste into NL. When I export my files to .nlelem, I do special sections (I.e. Stations, Transport/Brake sections, and constant radius turns) in their own .nlelem file and paste them in separately. Other things such as supporting and scenery still must be done in the editor, though.
  12. I just got the AP Calculus textbook I ordered a few days ago. I'm overwhelmed with nerdish glee. Vekoma "AP Calculus BC, you WILL be my bitch next year!" Fan Boy
  13. ^That sounded like it would be absolutely unbearably rough if it were a full sized ride.
  14. I definitely agree with Imawesome, this really looks like the Prowler of B&M inverts!
  15. Girls suck. That sums up my entire take on this conversation.
  16. ^Wild Berry Pop-Tarts were pretty much all I ate as a kid!
  17. It reminds me of wild berry Pop-tarts. I am therefore in love with it!
  18. ^Rock the Boardwalk isn't an annual event, it takes place every Thursday night in the summer. And the park itself was actually pretty dead all day. All of the rides were either walk ons or had a wait time of one cycle.
  19. The other week my father tried to convince me that the new soundtracker trains that were put on Bizzarro/S:ROS had OTSR restraints. My own father. Ugh.
  20. I'm tempted to give a look into the design of S&S's launch systems. I'm interested to see what is causing all of these problems on rides even as small as PK.
  21. Boardwalk Bullet. That thing is rougher than coarse grade sandpaper, but I'll ride it four or five times in a row. Though by then I usually have to go and eat while I let my sore neck have a break.
