Photo TR: Mini New Hotness/East Coast Trip

I don't know if IB is just not as popular as it used to be, but that place was dead when I went in July. It was mid-afternoon on a weekday, but still it was really bizarre to see most of the ride ops waiting around for even a single rider to show up. Cornball and LOCO SUMO were both great rides. Also, their S&S tower is pretty ridiculous. The sudden jolt at the top feels like it's trying to kill you. -

^No, they're saying that smoking is free, just like soft drinks, parking, and sunscreen. -
Sounds like you had fun at the con. I got to go for the first time this year, too. We were lucky enough to get to see some guy named Sir Patrick Stewart (he's apparently pretty famous and stuff), Colin Baker, the Mass Effect voice actors. I still wish I'd gotten to go to the "Adult Origami" workshop, but sadly it conflicted with the panel on kinky sea creatures

Imm'a let you finish, but Lightning Run was my favorite coaster of all time. Of all time! (though I have yet to ride an Intamin Megalite) Also, I really enjoyed the water park at Kentucky Kingdom. It's no Splashin Safari, but they did have a nice collection of slides. Deluge was especially fun, and provided some decent airtime in the back. -

Pretending that he's riding Skyrush. Firehawk is still my least favorite ride of all time. -
Smoothest Coaster You've Ridden?
nannerdw replied to TheDark8's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
+1 RMC Goliath was one of the smoothest coasters I've ridden, wooden or steel. Also, Lightning Run Really? Definitely not in the back seat -
^9.726683/10 Would have been 9.675583, but I gave it an extra .0511 for creativity

Wilson County Fair - 2014
nannerdw replied to nannerdw's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Apparently this one is real. I've heard of this woman showing up at other fairs. I'm sure she gets some nice, respectful visitors to her exhibit, but I saw a couple of people walk back there and start giggling without saying anything to her. -
It's that time of year again, county fair season! (or as I like to call it, "My annual pilgrimage to Lebanon, TN to ride the elusive Mondial Top Scan.") Welcome to the fair! They had a nice selection of rides this year. Got my unlimited ride hand stamp, and I'm ready to... Feiht? Fun for the whole family. Space Roller had some nice forces in the outside seats, but the short ride cycle was kind of crappy. 4 feihts out of 5 I love this ride, both for its funky lateral+airtime combo, and for the narrowness of its jibs. This guy was pretty excited about it, too. I did not ride the Wacky Worm. I doubt I was missing out on much, though. Didn't go on the mouse, either. The line got ridiculously long later in the evening, and I wasn't that desperate for the credit. I find it just a little disturbing that these "human oddity" exhibits still exist today. I thought those got banned like 50 years ago. I got in a bit of a "feiht" with Banzai, when its hydraulic death-OTSRs decided to jolt upward and punch me hard in the nose. Thanks, Banzai. Here we see an ancient ritual of the indigenous peoples of rural Tennessee, the "Tractor Pull." This event is always sure to draw a crowd (for some reason). The objective is to see who can fail their emissions test the fastest. Also, you get something like 50 bonus points for having an American flag on the back of your tractor. I think this guy won. Super funtimes on the Disko, another one of my favorites Wait, what? Ummm, so which part of the horse gets used to... Oh, I see. I hope they're at least paying that horse minimum wage, though. It's clearly doing all the work. There was a nice woodsy area, full of old-fashioned buildings (and mosquitoes). I lold at the "Have a blessed day" at the end. If they're going to bestow their blessing upon this list of murderous concoctions, they could at least go with "Bless your heart." Still, I had to try something, because YOLO. My arteries winced as I bit into a fried Oreo for the first time. No regrets. Why does all the food here sound so tantalizingly nauseating? Oh wow, they're still going. These people sure do love their air pollution. Awesome flats, even more awesome at night Vertigo spent a lot of time broken down. I wish I'd gotten the chance to ride it. One final shot of the midway

I had never heard of this "Coney Island" impostor before, but it looks like a pretty cool place. Any park with a Rock-O-Plane is a win in my book. -
I hiked up to the top of the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway the other day to take this pic. I haven't ever ridden the Incline Railway, because I can't count it as a credit. I'm sure it still has more airtime than Mean Streak, though.

I see some more unicyclists in this thread I don't practice uni tricks much these days, but here's an old vid I made back in college. Taking over the world, one wheel at a time, muahaha

The current restraints on Skyrush were fine for me, but the wing seats rattled quite a bit. Yay, page 666 -

The Sims 2 with all of the DLC is free right now, but you have to get the product key before July 31st. Also, it requires Origin. http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-get-the-sims-2-ultimate-collection/

When brakes bite hard

The brake at the top of Double Shot at Indiana Beach is pretty violent.
