If I had enough space, I'd put a Rock-O-Plane in my backyard.

I really wish they could have made the top of the lift hill face the water. That would have provided some awesome views.

I hope they'll add some more trees around the edges of the park. It not exactly a scenic area, since it's surrounded by parking parking lots and roads on all sides.

I'm pretty sure Thunder Run already had flags. I'm really looking forward to seeing Thunder Run reopen. It has the potential to be a great ride.

I never thought I'd get a chance to ride the blue side of Twisted Twins. I really hope it will re-open. That's always been a very nostalgic ride for me, since it was my first coaster.

The only thing I don't like about the video is that they used a Vekoma Boomerang and an SLC

It looks kind of odd how this ride is just gettin' all up in Dragon Khan's business. It's looking really awesome so far, though.

^Yeah, maybe it's a bit of an exaggeration , but the center axis was definitely rotating much faster than what's being shown at the end of that video. I wish I'd had my video camera with me, because it was literally the most intense ride I've ever seen. I guess that's why it's called "Extreme." It was certainly too extreme for me, lol. Also, the lat. g's really weren't that high with the arms out at full swing, probably about the same as an Orbiter.

That's what I don't get about rides like this: The first (and last) time I rode one of these, the operator was clearly running it faster than intended. I was standing there watching it and thinking, "No... Surely this can't really be as intense as it looks. That would be dangerous", but then my curiosity got the best of me, and I just had to try it out for myself, despite my poor blood circulation and better judgement. Near the end of the ride, the operator shifted it into high gear, pulling what was easily over 3 g's for about 30 seconds. I was tensing up my whole body and pumping my legs the entire time just to stay conscious. As soon as I got off that thing, I laid down on a bench to get the blood flowing back into my head. Then I headed straight for the Top Scan and got about 5 rides in a row to clear my mind of that horrific experience. ...Never, ever, ever again! I avoid that ride like the plague now.

Magnum XL 200, about 8 years ago. That's me in the white shirt, looking like I'm about to die, and my sister trying to keep her purse from flying away.

That's definitely the tiniest frisbee ride I've ever seen. It looks like it could almost be a kiddie ride.

I think a bückel is a hill that twists and changes direction as it goes over the top.

This pic is almost a perfect side view. Only one side of the running rails is visible. It looks closer to 80-81° to me, but it's really close either way

It's interesting how they're using only 2-rail track on the low-stress part of the drop. Was I305 like that, too?

I remembered seeing this video a long time ago of a backyard coaster with a u-shaped track and free-spinning seats, and I've been looking everywhere to try to find it again. Finally, I came across this rare video, and added it to my favorites so I won't lose track of it again, lol. This is definitely the most ambitious and extreme home-made coaster I've ever seen, complete with its own cage dancers and fire effects It just got featured on NatGeo last year, too.

To me, 2011 will forever be seen as the year that a bunch of companies tried to get too greedy, and had to rely on their customers to smack some sense into them. In the end, I think the internet will end up getting more and more closed off and monitored, but it will have to happen much more gradually than this.

Divertical

Divertical is closer to the camera, plus that picture is taken from ground level. Of course it's going to appear taller. Now take the same pic from 180 feet up, and they will both appear perfectly in line with the camera.

I just hope they don't get too ambitious with their plans from the start. I think they should focus on the live shows at first, and get some big-name musicians to perform out there. That's part of what made Opryland so great. Just look at how many people show up to Bonnaroo in Manchester every year. Also, no one wants to ride a wooden coaster named "Muddin' ". That's just an awful idea GCI's "Big Fun" ride would be a good fit for this park.

Did they ever give an estimate for their fundraising goal?
