If you could tear down one coaster

Yeah, like a Megalite -
How well do you handle hangtime?
nannerdw replied to Vid_w's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The barrel roll at the end of Daredevil Dive at SFOG is really cool with just a lapbar holding you in, probably my favorite part of the ride. Also, don't mean to go off topic, but did you seriously break your wrist on a Vekoma ride, SingleRiderCam? -

Stand-up hangtime is my favorite, like the top of Chang's vertical loop. That was my very first inversion on a roller coaster, and I'll never forget that feeling of floating while standing up, upside down, 120 feet in the air. It left quite a lasting impression I usually try to avoid rides that stall upside down for an extended period of time, like the Fireball carnival rides, Top Spins, etc; or rides that have really strong negative g-s, like Chaos or Power Surge, because they give me a headache. I make an exception for the Rock-O-Plane, though, because I know I'm in complete control of how long I stay upside-down. -
The Best Woodie under 75 feet Tall

Wow, I completely forgot about Cannon Ball at Lake Winnepesaukah. So I guess I've been on two: that and The Beastie at King's Island. -

I think I've only been on one: The Beastie/Fairly Odd Coaster/Woodstock Express at King's Island. Blue Streak at Cedar Point comes pretty close, at 78 ft high. It's drop is only 72 ft, so I might count that one. -

It's a good thing I'm thin So am I. I'm as skinny as a rail, and it still practically suffocated me, lol. -

I'm looking forward to this ride, but I'm definitely not looking forward to the self-tightening, lung-constricting, shoulder-crushing OTSRs. I had bruises after just a couple of rides on Wild Eagle -
I had the chance to ride the one at King's Island for $5, but I chickened out. I really wished that I'd done it, so I decided if I ever had another chance to ride one for $5, I would. I finally got that chance at Kentucky Kingdom, 2 rides for $10. I had to ride by myself, though, since I couldn't convince anyone else to do it. It was surprisingly not that scary. The upside-down freefall felt a lot less intense than a drop tower, IMO.

Best Roller Coaster you rode THIS MONTH!
nannerdw replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thunderhead! I liked Wild Eagle a lot, but those clavicle-crushing restraints were very painful, and actually bruised my shoulders. They tightened down so much throughout the ride that I had trouble breathing. Mystery Mine was painful, too. It's like the OTSR was designed specifically to punch you in the balls. Blazing Fury: Hard plastic seats, ouch. Tennessee Tornado: Surprisingly the second most comfortable coaster in the park. -
The BEST roller coaster view EVER???

From the ones I've ridden, Wild Eagle has the best view. -
Strangest layouts

Full Throttle definitely has the strangest layout I've ever seen. -

The rules of Boss Bash: 1. Invite your boss to SFStL 2. Coax him into riding Boomerang and Ninja with you 3. Your boss has pulled down his OTSR. Now's your chance! 4. Make a quick getaway. 5. Repeat 6. The goal of the game is to see how many times you can trick your boss into riding these coasters. You may have to get creative -

It's great to see an overbanked turn on a family coaster. The pacing looks great, too.
